2015 deleted with ppei tunes. 70k miles. No compression in #1 hole. Looking like a smoked piston. Soon as I get this 6.0 head job done and free up my lift I'll be pulling this her apart.

Im on vacation...which means I get to work on kid's vehicles. Yay. My son's Aurora had a leaking sunroof, which has caused a nice electrical problem... where only the drivers window and lock works. I suspect a bad DDM, but had to check harnesses out first. I now have to get the Tech2 out to start testing the DDM. Then its on to fixing his "no 4th gear" issue....

I hate working on cars.

Worked at AZ Cardinals stadium for 18 hours on Sunday, removing all the "final 4" basketball screen frame assembly. Just had to remove the 65 small winches that lifted the assembly from the ground floor to about 100 feet above the floor, easy work just man basket stuff so took forever, but I did venture out onto the roof and took some cool pics of the jib and crane. floor to bottom of the basket was 265 feet.

Outside the roof we had to lift 2 1100lb power switch gear assemblies off and then set on the ground. roof took 11 minutes to open up and it literally has the consistency of a tramp-o-line walking surface, im not afraid of heights but this made me think about it haha. enjoy.

Brian, thats you in the basket --that high up-- in that pic? Me -- "Oh hell no!"

Figured out the electrical issue on Kole's Aurora today. Wasnt the DDM. I had to delve farther into the harness until I came to a taped splice in the power door serial data wiring. It was literally a scotchloc taped over by the factory!!! Damn thing was all green from water, and the wires broke in half when I removed them. Cut back about an inch on all four wires and soldered a new piece of wire between them all. Shrink wrapped the junction and tested it -- bingo. He has window and lock control again.

So what's the story? Was it one of those oops that you didn't feel but was scared to looks? Or did it hurt like hell from the get go?

Never hurt until they injected the numbing crap 8n my hand with a 6" needle. It lasted like 20 mins and has been burning pain and feels like my thumb is being crushed in a bench vise. 50 series chain and like a 12 tooth sprocket, fingers went right through it. Very unlucky accident wrong place wrong time kinda thing.

The amount of safety implemented at plants/mines/quarries do to complacency, lack of situational awareness, and just plain common sense... Makes me feel stupider after leaving.....

Can I get some IQ points back please!?!
