Been crushing asphalt all this week. Today was the first day of full sunshine we've had in this neck of the woods for almost 3 weeks.

Been using a Metso crusher that was practically brand new when we received it. Powered by a C18 Cat..she's a beast. Too bad crushing and cold weather aren't quite sympatico.

Got laid off 2 weeks ago, company man dragged me to the new outfit that replaced the old company. Running the new chit show with green hands.... Needless to say I'm ready for my first day off in 2 weeks. If the damn money wasn't so good..... I'd drag up. I build well pads.

Slept til 11 since they aren't paying me for extra hours and then ****ed off all day, tried to raise the derrick at 8 in a snow storm but didn't like the ice in it, so they'll chip ice in the morning and giver hell.

Did some new AC units on a 410' building in Phoenix today.. 21,500lbs, 550ton did great, this is Arizona's largest mobile crane, mega wing and all. 185' main boom, 249 of luffer. 18 semis of shenanigans. 365,000lbs of counterweight.

Wow, that's big kid stuff. I'm still debating rigging for a couple years to run and then getting operators to run smaller cranes like 350 down.

Have you got to make a lift in it yet? Calling the big shit is where it's at man, I loved it. But nothing tops when my operator had surgery so I ran our liebherr ltm 1500 with superlift and max counter weight. Picked 283k at 32ft. Oooo buddy nothing tops that chubby. I'm curious how your wing attaches on that...Terex right? Ah the engineering in a crane is a amazing. Keep rocking it Brian

Nah, haven't ran it, don't need to take that chance if something happens. I've ran our Tadano 90 ton cranes. This 550 is a Grove. The mega wing attaches to the base of the boom and connects to the top of the main boom, and you can adjust the tension on it.

I like bring on the ground more, puts more trust in you from your operator if you know it will pick up straight and not take off on him.
