Had a little down time so made an aluminum plug for the fuel filter and chunked the plastic junk one. Put a 3/8" square in the bottom for a ratchet. Just in case anyone is wondering the threads are 36mm X 1.5 pitch & the o-ring is 1/8" thick X 1.625" O.D. 1.375" I.D.
I love it. Always exciting flying stuff! If you have done it before, especially bigger picks you'd be hooked. Haha

I haven't had 1 in 5 years, building your own business has its perks but vacations aren't one of them. I sure do miss shutting down for a few days to take it all into perspective, life has a funny way of slipping bye when you work too much...

My vacation is next week, mostly to catch up on shop work and hopefully some outdoor work

Riley, it sounds like you have an LBZ coming in for injectors soon. At least thats what the guy on DP was saying.
Well this started at work. I used a hammer the to start the shape and brought it home and just finished it. It started out as a Lincoln gold dollar. It's kept me busy the past couple hours. Keeps my mind off the passing of my grandfather for the time being.

Layed down 12525' 5 1/2" casing full of cement, what a nasty, slow miserable process. I felt for my hands in a bad way.
Tough turning work. Inconel 625.

Last time I turned inconel it wasn't to terribly bad but hastelloy can kiss my grits I hate working that stuff
Started the new job today did a few inspections and daily's on Bell 212's
