Hd Dave did my cabinets, nothing like an old forum hookup. Otherwise they would not be as nice as they are. Haha

I appreciate the comment brother that took a ton of effort, it started out as an old storage shed.

Well first wash job in over 2 years since I just hosed it down with simple green after it got completely covered in oil and antifreeze. Going to go to storage this week kinda discouraging I wasn’t able to get it all worked out and get a new pb on the track. But I know I have to throw a set of new up pipes on and probably buy a new set of drag radials at this point and be ready to go…IMG_2089.jpeg

It has that black plastic piece to account for the thicker frame then a half ton. Should have painted the whole thing white while the grill was being done.

I’ve never actually had the bumper off this truck but how do you do it? Just put spacers between the brackets and the bumper or do you move the brackets on the frame?

1500 mod here. Make brackets for the frame horn, redrill holes for the outside brackets up 2” and either 1500 grill or cut the plastic piece off. I cut mine off. Tow hooks and fogs have to go too if you still got them.

I know tow hooks can't stay without cutting the lower valence, but fog lights should be bolted to the bumper. Why do you have to remove them?

Fogs can stay. Tow hooks can be done if you use the GMT-900 hooks.

I have thought about doing a Denali front end but that bumper looks so goofy. I wish there was a Denali HD front end for GMT-800s to make it stand out.

Looks like they can stay. The just clear the body mount. I could have sworn I couldn’t put mine back on and replaced I them with rigid duallies.
