LMM: Well it finallly blew, and Now it Runs!

Really sucks when your waitng to finish a install and fire a motor and you get flaked on for parts promised . What like 3 different times .
The motor mount bolt , o-rings for leak , seal tool , 36mm socket , head gaskets 2 weeks later than promised . It became a joke towards the end and Jason and Tommy came through on a bunch of this stuff . And Greg stewietuned hooked me up with tools and seal tool . It was frustrating .
Greg do you think you have this in stock ...... let me go check ..... come on down gassy we got it .

Welll finally got every thing back from machine shop and all the parts from guy Thank you
and henery for digging up all the part#s Thanks again guys :hug: and started on it today. wee toook our time mesuring every thing out and got the crank in and all tqd down tomarow will be rods pistons and cam and the kind of on hold untill tues when the gaskets arive. Thanks henry for the list of part numbers. Being at the new dealership - these guys don't know duramax at all so having a list of part numbers really helped out !

I sent Tommy a new list part # on 1 or 2 thing were different but I think its the same was stupid thinks might not even be needed, I have all the part print outs for were each part goes just need to scan and post or email.Also there not showing a whole kit for after 07 classic have to buy ea part after 07.5 from what I saw when we pulled it up at the dealer.
I just read all 15 pages of this and now I am afraid to start my truck. I guess it would be a good excuse to build it up. Any of you that have cracked a piston or put a hole in one , I would be interested in one with the connecting rod attached. Let me know if you would part with it. I know things like that are often times kept for a reminder of what can happen.
