Good to see so many lifters here. I'm training for a USPA PL meet on Aug.16th, got a herniated disc, but training for a meet keeps me motivated to take rehab seriously. Won't hit any PR's be I'll be happy if I go 462/341/507 @ 220.

4 sets of 8 dead lift 315.
Been throwing the 110 dumbells up about as good as I did when my max was 325 so I think I got it back. Gonna try tomorrow

Incline drop sets to failure starting with 195 (three quarters on each side)
lift (195lbs) to failure then drop 50lbs, lift (145lbs) to failure then drop 50 lbs, lift (95lbs) to failure. Repeat for three sets.

After the 3rd drop set to failure my chest will be broken lol

Now that's a drop set. We do drop sets here and there but not like that I will talk him into it maybe get my goal for the year. But at my small gym people get upset when you tie up a bench for an hour. Monday is chest day everywhere

That pyramid takes a while but we have 14 flat benches at the Golds I train at. The drop sets on the incline are absolutely brutal. The chest is already at failure after the bench pyramid, so it's nothing but gains being made when you start the drop sets. Better have a spotter tho.

Yeah. I no longer lift to get big. Was working towards competing in body building but lost a close friend and the gym was never the same. He was a 3 time Mr Texas. Moved back to mma and feel way better and look decent. Not all bloated and crap. I fight at 170 and cut from 195 and I'm 6'1". Haven't lifted heavy in like 5 years. Lol. But I would whoop big me's booty. I didn't have the cardio to carry that much weight on me. Any of y'all dabble in boxing or wrestling too?

Who has time for this?! I work like 10-11 hours a day doing landscape work and related jobs. When I get home it is supper and family time. No way am I gonna do any more work! Maybe lift a 12oz bottle or two!

U guys r way more knowledgable than me. About 10 years ago I used phera plex from anabolic extreme. Do they still make that or is there something comparable to it? I had a foot of my colon cut out a year and a half ago so it's been a slow go getting back into lifting. Gives me motivation reading about u guys. Some really impressive numbers for sure.

In 05 Bush banned a whole lot of stuff. Making them schedule 2 steroids. People claim that they change things by 1 molecule. But I found that most have been diluted enough that they don't work very well. Most otc stuff is hype. Nothing will assist like aas. That's on you. I can't afford to put on weight so I don't even lift heavy. Like 90 lb dumbbell presses for 15-20.
