Yeah, that's what I've always been told. Right now my arms are about 16.25 and calves are 15.5. So I got plenty of work to go around.

Bench today...after 5 days off. Tweaked a muscle in my neck last Thursday and couldn't hardly move my head. Muscle relaxers and ice saved me.

Anywho some numbers

Bench.
Warmup 95 x 15r. 135 x 8r
4s x 5r x 180
1s x 13r x 135

Incline bench
3s x 5r x 135
1s x 12r x 100

That's the fun stuff. According to the calculator on body space my 1 rep max went from 165 up to 205 in 12 weeks

Rolling on close to a week with no Gym for me:confused: Been super busy at work, 7 on 1 off, 12 hour days, plus working on my kids 97' Silverado after work... Not much time for the gym lately. Headed to Idaho tonight for a couple weeks, probably get a few workouts in and a sh*t load of hiking done:D

It happens albert. In 3 weeks I've worked out 4 times. This morning my wife was doing squats and I watched and looked at my legs and thought "see that you skinny fckers, she squats almost as much as you do". So this morning I realized I'm a ***** pretty much

Well I was really feeling it today. Shoulders, traps, calves. None of that is entertaining but when I got done I was just really in the zone and I had to go do a squat or 2....sooooo I hit a new PR.

Bar x 15 high bar back squat
Bar x 10 front squat
190 x 3 high bar
200 x 2 high bar
205 x 1 high bar

Got some funny looks when I got myself all psyched up...I think I could do 215....so next week I try for 205 on bench and I just need to start doing deads....just wish I had a trap bar as it hurts the low back alot less

I would win the chicken leg contest everytime! :rofl:I weighed 141.2 this morning.

Here's another deadlift video. 225 is 80% of my 1RM, so it's nice to do sets with. Didn't go any heavier today. Just wanted to get a lot of reps in. I feel like my form is getting real close to where it needs to be.

Little late to the party here. Been lifting for around 5 years now. Usually hit the gym 4-5x a week.

Looking for some insight from you guys and gals who have more experience in this realm. I'm having problems with sore knees. Been battling them on and off for the last couple years and I'm looking for some remedies. I hit legs 2x a week and love it but my knees are a little tight until I get good and warmed up. What I am wondering is what you guys are using for knee support for your leg days?

I don't want to give up on them because they are back in good shape.

I do heavy legs on Tuesdays (usually 5x5 working up to 90% of my 1RM) and Saturday's are my "flush" days so usually lighter weight and more reps (usually 8-12 w/ varying sets)

Any hints or guidance for supporting my knees a little more would be great! I use neoprene pads now and they have helped quite a bit but I do still experience periodic tightness/soreness in my knees.

Stretch more, static and dynamic. Foam roll the crap out of your quads and IT band.

And watch your form, personally when my legs start to cave and or knees track forward is when things start to get very sore.

General soreness is the name of the game though if you toss a decent amount of weight on your body weekly. Just learn to differentiate soreness and pain.

Thank you sir.

Form is good, no caving, keeping knees behind my toes. Its just general soreness. Not any pain, so-to-speak.
