That look better, must've been the angle. but yea just drop those elbows a tad. I also try to get my quad at least parallel to the floor...when I'm feeling like I need more mobility I do bar only ass to grass...sometimes I drop down and sit for a few seconds to get everything to stretch then explode up

what is the general consensus on deadlifts, touch and go or reset each rep? I generally do touch and go, don't bounce it or anything but never lose 100%of the weight at the bottom. I feel this is hampering my pull from the bottom. yesterday I worked up to a 1rm and did a solid 345, and failed at 365. but I can touch and go 335 for 5 and probably could have done 345 for a few.

just wondering if I should be resetting between each rep.

Yea they are definitely proud of it. I just picked up some Gold Annex from complete nutrition. Talked with the guy there alot about goals and such...at first he recommended gold standard but after about 15 min he said to try this stuff we shall see.

It's my money, more I spend less she gets.. I'm ok.. Things are mediocre..
Well I'm still pulling for ya buddy. Hope it all works out.

The dymatize mixes awesome as well.

On to yesterday...wow i was a hot mess after this.

High bar squats
Bar x15
95x10
115x4sx15r rest pause 15sec after last set and 7 more to failure

Front squats...these hurt my left should like a mofo. I guess the bar sits on my old incision from surgury
Bar x15
85x15
75x15
65x15 rest pause then 9 more to failure

Leg extensions
90x3sx15r rest pause 15 sec 10 more to failure

Romanian deads
Bar x15
85x4sx15r rest pause 10 more to failure

Single leg kneeling leg curl....supposed to be seated leg curls but apparently this gym doesn't have one of those...wtf over
35x2sx15r per leg
40x15 per leg rest pause 11 more per leg to failure

Seated calf raise
90x4sx30r rest pause 20 more to failure

Leg press calf raise
138x4sx30r rest pause 20 more to failure

My quads were on fire, hammys were sore, calves were so tight I could barely wiggle my feet.

Lots of stretching and foam rolling after and last night before bed

Chris, that is better. I would like to see more depth, at least quads parallel. One thing I notice is your pushing your butt back pretty far, this causes the good morning squat. Try and let your knee's come forward over your toes more and sit your hips down in between your quads, that will help with depth and allow you to stay a little more vertical. it will be harder because it will put much more emphasis on your quads and the back less. I have weaker quads so I tend to good morning the heavier weights up as well. One of the reasons I have modified my squat to what Max is doing, more knee over toes, more vertical spine, much stronger quads.

Corbin, I have been using the Dymatize ISO100 with great results but recently we switched over to Eat The Bear Protein ISO Whey very similar Nutrition but Eat the Bear is a little leaner with less sodium if you care about such things. The price is a little better with ETB and they always have a discount going so it's cheaper than the Dymatize. Either one is great and as lean as I have been able to find, for the money:thumb:
