Legs and posterior chain are still pretty sore. So decided just to do a light bench day. That turned into a lifetime pr:rofl:

8 sled pulls with 3-45's a 25 and a 10 just what was laying over there, to tired/lazy to get anything else.

Farmer carry with 45's 2 laps around the gym non stop, traps are roasted...

Stretched and wobbled out of the gym. On to head gaskets and studs in the blue B*tch...

Did legs 2 days ago but they recovered well for as hard as I pushed them so I went back and did some stuff today.

Squats
Body weight x10
Bar x 10
65x10
85x10
105x10
125x10
145x10
Bosu ball squat with Rouge stick thing...did these on the squishy side and the flat side. Really helped finish off the quads when you drop down and your legs are firing like crazy to keep you balanced.

DB flat bench/1 arm DB row superset

90x12. 45 x12 per arm 3 sets.

Incline DB hammer curls
3sx10r per arm x25lb

Called it good as I wasn't finding motivation for more

Did some legs today..

Back squat
1 set at 405x8
2 set at 425x8
3 set at 455x6
Happy I got for 6..

Then for time
50 box jumps at 20in
40 thursts at #65
30 pull up kipping of course haha
20 toes to bar
10 step ups on 20in box with #65

You guys are making me want to powerlifting again haha!!:thumb:

Pft I can spell either, nobody cares here. It's all about working out. Da fuk is kipping? I'd like to try crossfit but my gym charges an asinine amount and with 4 herniated discs in the low back I think I'd be asking for trouble

Those pullups look like youre trying to dislocate your shoulder! Lmao

On a side note, I really hate going to gym on Saturdays. I find it hard to concentrate when theres more than 5 people in there. Managed to destroy my shoulders in 45 min though. Standing military press, Arnold press, seated overhead press, front raises, side raises and cable raises, combined with hanging paused pull-ups did me in. Then I came home and did yardwork for 6 hours. Im sore to say the least. Cant wait for deads tomorrow!

On a less enticing note, I'm reping 225 for 5 now on the bench now, bout had an aneurism getting the last rep tho, and I was able to add another 10lbs to my PR and hit 245:thumb:

I want 265 in a bad way
Can do 68 pushups in a row, wanna hit 100 by the end of Summer

Curling 125 on a seated preacher curl and goin for 145 in the next workout, shouldnt be a problem but I've never done a 1rm, with curls before

Can dead lift all the weight I've got, with the bar that's 370
(I just read that a good grip strength is being able to grab in each hand, lift and carry your body weight for 5 meters? Geez- that's 180 in each hand for me)

Don't squat as often as I should be or as much as I believe I should, need to work on that, I can hit 8 with 260 on the bar, but my set up and no spotter keeps me from it more than anything else, once my legs are done, THEY'RE DONE! LOL


And, I need to get some 60lb dumbells now...the 40's are feeling kinda light ;)

Lower back has been hurt on and off for the past 3 months, but hit it today. Flat bench 135x20/155x20/225x10x3/255x10x3/275x5x3. Dumbell flies 4 sets 10 reps. Push-ups til failure.
