How's it look?

I gotta learn to keep my head down!
That was 1,000% better Chris good job bud! Neutral spine (head), pull the slack out of the bar (don't jerk into it), Keep those shoulder blades pulled back and down. Very minor tweaks bud looking good.
I don't see how all y'all lift and workout everyday and the weights you do. I applaud you. We went to the zoo yesterday and walked what seems like 5 miles and carrying a 4 year old on my shoulders some of the way and pushing the baby in the stroller when the wife had the son walking with her. My legs are killing me, lol.
My kids wore me out when I was younger, now that they are grown I don't have to pack them and they are starting there own lives and don't need dad much. Kinda sad but I raised my kids to be self sufficient.
Don't ever post In here but had shoulder day today
-military press 5x6 60lb dumb bell
-weighted dips 3x10 45lb plate
-shrugs 3x10 75lb dumb bells
-dumb bell raises (straight and side) 3x20 20lbs
-burn out on unweighted dips 3 sets
All are welcome to post in here. Most of us are just meat heads and like to support and tear each other down:rofl:

Thanks guys!

I am kicking myself for not tossing 495 on it and attempting that, but 3 success attempts are a nice start to the intense cycle.

Box squats, anyone have a good info for setup etc? Never done em, usually they are for gear whores.
I think 495 would have gone too:thumb: But it's nice having that confidence going into your next cycle, that there is more on the table. I need to learn to stop grinding reps, totally fries the CNS...

No box squats for me, the small jar I get when I sit on the box bothers my back so I don't do them.

Off and on for the last few years when work, family, and injuries let me. I'll look back for the videos and see what I can learn.

Back, biceps, abs yesterday. Kinda frustrated I don't feel like a get a very good pump when doing my back, especially lats
Only way I do is if I go do wide grip pull ups which I can only get 3-5r for 3-4s and that takes alot of energy. Ideas?

Did legs today. I can't back squat at all.. I'm a tile setter and my knees just kill me on back squats, my right hip is effed up too and doesn't go back when I try and go low. It just wants to twist. I can front squat more weight easier than I can back squatting.

Front squats 5x5 135lbs
Dead lifts 4x5 225, 1x3 275
Leg press 4x8 10 plates total so 450?
Leg extension 5x10 140lbs

Legs were killin me and now I'm crawling around on the floor setting tile lol fml

Brock I can usually get a good back pump in. Here's what I usually do
-barbell rows, I have palms facing in towards me
-single dumb bell row, like your starting a chain saw
-wide grip pull ups
-seated rows
-wide grip lat pull downs

One thing that really helps me is to squeeze those muscles on whatever lift your doing. I will kind of pause for a second and just hold that muscle tight. Throwing shit around fast and hard doesn't cut it for me, slow and really get that squeeze or pump.

I started working out with some guys at work a few weeks ago. So today we did incline and flat bench for lunch
10, 8, 6, 4, 2
Started incline at 135 and ended at 185
Started flat bench at 175 and ended at 195

Yesterday we did squats, mostly the same pyramid routine
10, 8, 6, 4, 12
All sets at 225 due to my back being sore from deadlifts

Did chest today. Decided to try a 1RM since I never used more than 135 in my sets. Had the wife spot me and I managed 175. I struggled a little bit but she said she barely helped me. This is pretty cool to me since I've been keeping the weight low, focusing on going slow and using good form. Been doing lots of OHP and row work as well. Nice to see the work starting to pay off.
