Definitely not your typical boats.. Gas powered boats are far easier and cheaper to work on... lol

We'll 12hrs later, back at it, ACME version 1 rear adapter hardware is out, and the trusty old dyno flywheel setup bolted on. Tomorrow we'll bolt up that new rear engine plate above, and hopefully be spinning a little higher R's this time.

I was referring to their propensity to be a tad difficult from time to time...

There was once a time Josh that I didn't. So I just quit playing. But now I look at it as Adam from Mythbusters says, "failure is always an option..."

Once you understand that statement, plus a little bit of humility, makes life go a lot easier.

Like my laser guy who just told me to spend the extra $20 on a pizza and handed me his paint marker..

That's a fairly old looking Laser. Would you happen to know Who made it? Looks somewhat familiar to me.

Amen to that! The amount of engineering involved with this is mind numbing to say the least. Tomorrow we will get to make some noise with her!!!:D
Aaaawwwww yeeeaaaaahhhh!
Waiting for the video with bated breath. Gotta hear that sweet sweet music.

Good luck guys, here's hoping it takes everything you throw at it and asks for more.

I was thinking “Bust Out Another Thousand” however I feel $1000 won’t go far on this build.

For my customers it's more like 10k...

I'm an idiot though bc I'm seatrailing a 53 Omie Tillet on Tuesday, even though I send out invoices for them everyday...:roflmao:

Am I seeing 557 hp and 900 torque? And only like 550* egt? If so I like where this is headed

Mark has some gopro video of em. I just have the data views.

Short, it survived day one of testing. Didn't push it hard cause wanted to verify some low end stuff and check piston coating. Learned big lmm sticks and fingers pistons equals 12v Cummins exhaust look. And turbos are slightly bigger than anticipated.

EGT was actually 10-11 loaded there. But still well within our target. Cyl press under 3k, drive pressure beloe boost. So gonna swap out these lmm tips for lbz, hopefully clean up the pipe in this 600hp range. Then see if these turbos will light with some more fuel.

First video sounds like maybe an injector tick on driver side.

How was the exhaust smoke at 3600 rpm? Was that with a load/brake?

Exhaust smoke isn't excessive for say a 550hp truck, but it is for a 900hp diesel boat running at 50% load. Gonna swap these tips out to LBZ and try it again.

Here is little video inside the crankcase checking pan baffle flow. Little more oiling action in there than I was actually expecting. But it isn't stacking up, so that's good.
