That stack maf PASS combo is just a prototype the guys at Shocker printed up for me. Think I can swing the turbos out a inch or so on the vbands an not mess up the charge tube alignment. Worst case we lengthen that tube before cutting the real ones from alum.
A slight angle at the boot is a possible option I'm keeping open. The US sales rep for Shocker was in the area and stopped by Friday. He had one of their pressure side 4" units with him, which we mounted up for couple pics. A two piece design might also resolve the clearance issue by letting us turn up inlets to a 45deg angle with stacks or filters above the Banks intake.
Your in uncharted territory anyway, spectacular set up. If they hold up reasonably well, I'm going to start a new pair next fall, keeping an eye out for a good buy on a pair of asd 8's.
I'm making a template for my charge pipes, to build more, my Intercoolers can't move with the engines. I left a 3/8"to 1/2" gap at the intercooler boot so maybe ok.
I don't know how much movement my mounts allow.
Got pipes and turbos mocked up again, then started fitting the oil related parts. The cooler delete plate is about 2 inches to thick and screws with my cooler plans. Next time I'll tap the blocks for lines. But i did manage to bend the dipstick tube into submission.
Some more pics to enjoy. Had unfunny time with these headers. Finding studs to work took a while.. Went with a 50mm long stress relieved 10mm I found at MSC for $3.75 ea....
The holes are 26mm deep, so leaves 2-3mm off bottom. Then still had to grind down couple nuts to fit. Someone didn't think before welding the egt probe ports in primaries. But they are on now..
