The diesel place that did my first turbo swap took what they claimed 14 hrs. I don't believe it but that's what they said. The only reason they got to do it was that I was to busy at my primary job. I could see between 6-10 hrs myself depending on if you have any problems getting the up pipes and turbo down pipe off.

When i pulled the turbo out of my buddies LBZ for a Cheetah we had almost 8 hrs in getting it out- but it was my first time learning experience. The install went alil smoother. We are getting ready to pull it out again to do twins, so i will see if i learned anything the first time.
GOOD LUCK Steven

Okay. So I'm looking at doing 60 over injectors as well...any advice there? I've heard it's fairly easy since it's an LLY but was curious thanks

I have not done the LLY's, but I did do my LB7's. I would recommend the Snap On socket for tightening the injector lines. You can use a torque wrench instead of an end wrench and KNOW they are tightened correctly instead of guessing.

Hey Tony- Good luck with the install. I just pulled the Cheetah out of my buddies truck and put the stocker back in- had it completed in under 8 hours, much better than my first time! -Steven

Update: got two of the drivers side uppipe bolts loose...it's the lack of space to get to the top ones and the third oddly placed lowers that are killin me

This so far has taken me (with one guy helping for roughly two hours) 10 hours so far but it's me by myself doing this for the first time so I'm still happy with the progress made so far
