I'm about at my wits end with this shit...no one can give any other options? I guess there isn't a lot left aside from replacing the TVPS and that's it...haven't whacked it with a hammer yet but I'm getting ready too haha...I mean you can hear/see the vanes working with EFI just like they are stuck at a very limited range of motion...if that even makes sense
Thanks Pat I'll try running stock tune...it pretty much sounds like a nasty big block gasser at idle..I'll try logging another run. What to do if those wires are f'd? None look bad but I'm no rocket surgeon
Well since I am retarded and can't post a video to YouTube right now you can't hear but j hear no whoosh at idle anyone that wants to listen to the video I can text/email it to confirm there's no cycling. I just don't get it because the turbo is making boost...anyone have an extra vane position sensor for an LLY?
Is your gauge showing more than 3 lbs of boost? That's about the most I see on the last log you posted. That's not enough to indicate the vanes are actually moving. Unless the info in your log is incorrect, I feel pretty confident in saying you have either an electrical or mechanical problem with the vanes. I don't think it's a tuning or sensor problem.Well since I am retarded and can't post a video to YouTube right now you can't hear but j hear no whoosh at idle anyone that wants to listen to the video I can text/email it to confirm there's no cycling. Okay I'll try that when there's some light out...I just want this bad boy to run haha...having a brand new turbo that doesn't wanna work sucks
