Towed this one from Sacramento CA to Reno NV up the I80. 11k lb trailer, 3k in the bed and the truck, GCWR about 22K lbs. towed fine with plenty of power to spare

Kearney, NE has the museum over the road.
North Platte, NE has the Golden spike rail road museum.
And the North Platte airport with a whopping single runway and 2 gate terminal is historic as it was the first one with lights on the runway.

Sidney is on the other side of the state..

I was parts truck for this guy.... He has a 3500 TON servo stamping press that weighs 100,000lbs.. Makes a little truck feel tiny.. I can only put 20k on deck

Handled it okay but the fuel mileage was down about .0004%
