Didn't realize you had already pulled the bed off. Looks like a completely different truck now with no bed and the chrome simulators off.

the simulators lasted two trips down my driveway and the started making noise..plus you cant get to the inner dual to check tire pressure..
had to pull the bed to weld the GN hitch.. i didnt bother putting it back on.. its almost 800lbs, outside looks its not really helping me.. plus it block the view of the couple, safety chains and break-a-way cable.. giving the DOT at the scales a reason to pull me around back, then BTW since you are here lets to an inspection...
plan is another 48" tool chest one for tools the other for clothes. and get some plate aluminum to cover the frame a 4'x10'x.125" is 180.00
like to replace 6 with 4 but at 690.00ea for black or 530 polish aint happening

2011 keifer built ordered for the draft horses 52 foot long 120" wide extra tall so the drafts can stand just can't remember the height at the moment

We have heard mixed opinions on keifer built trailers we will see has over 40k on it now holding up well but ate through 3 sets of tires before we bit the bullet and went with 15 ply over the road tires

8k axles and 17.5" is the way to go man ;) i pick up 215/75/17.5 for ~230.00 each first set lasted ~120k

I wish we could fit 19.5's under it, the axles are oil bath, we did get the provision for the 3 axle but the 2 is easier to pull with how tight some barns are . We do have the darm and fresh water tanks armored up with 1/4 steel skid plates, and the rear has full width 8foot skid plate for high centering so we can just drag it accross obstacles.

Today while jack knifing into the barn the trailer had to push up a large terrace took 4 low, I get out and see the passenger side bed cap sticking to the underside of the trailer neck, tore it clean off. Ordered a new one hopefully it will be cheap.

That keifer built is a huge improvement over our 48' Integritty we traded in, Integritty went out of businuess and parts bacame impossible to get in under a year.

did you mean 19.5 or 17.5? we have 17.5's on it, if you look at our truck it has 17's and the trailer is roughly the same size.

Crappy pic doesnt show the trailers truw size

The tires got ate up when pulled by the Frieghtliner Sport Chassis, sister was too lazy to adjust the neck on the trailer so it was nose up, with full 6 horses water tanks full 100 gal dark 350 fresh, front tack full of grain top rack with 15 bales pretty dang heavy I think around 50K at the scale.

The sport chassis has auto ride air ride so it just kept adjusting up instead of sagging.

you guys should check out these trailers. there pricey for sure but its where I work and they are really worth it if you pull one every day. our customer service is awesome to. me and a buddy just got done building a 87 foot steerable extentable pole trailer. we make a lot of crazy stuff. if it isn't on the site we can build exactly what you want.

heres the truck with the bed installed its costing me ~600lb in cargo capacity.. ill run it for a couple weeks at least see how it goes.. maybe mpg will come up? i'm not fond of the idea in loosing loads/money to look good.

Definitely looks better with it. But not if your losing some money. And i gauranttee the new truck will get better mileage once it breaks in. It took mine 25-30k before i noticed any real improvement.

its got just under 103k on it, 6k of those are mine.... honesty i stacked my chips pretty hard against the mpg increase
rough math the (bad credit and nothing financed in 6 years= stupid high apr but that was given )
truck payment is 650.00 for 36 months
i avg 8,000 miles a month. that's an avg of $0.08 cents a mile to the truck payment
calculated fuel cost is 4.00 a gallon
10mpg is $0.40 cents per mile (what the red truck was avg)
12.5mpg is $0.32 cents per mile

last week i avg ~11.5 tank to tank, week before that was ~10.5

booked a load for 9'x16' rail road equipment yesterday spring ride and no tarp needed..
get there this AM and its this NDT x-ray machine... cant fit my tarps around it, sensitive electronics, and there is radiation placards on it which IDK at what limit the vehicle needs placard or not... thing 40,000lb of 1 gallon bleach bottles doesnt need to be placard, if it is in 5 gallon or bigger containers its required to be placard...
