Kelly/bigbird has one on his truck. No, I cant say its on any "dyno proven 1000hp" trucks, most of them are sled pullers. Im sorry I dont have my own badazz 1000hp truck like the big boys to 'acid test' my own stuff on.

I would rather put my money into R&D of new and better products than have a big bad fancy loud drag/pulling truck with subpar products and service.

what does that have to do with anything? why does having one or the other affect a persons products or service's ? and I really hope this wasn't directed at me Ben ?

Trent I offered to send you one too but never really heard anything back. All people do is whine and complain about these problems, so OK, I devise this widget to solve the problem. Then I bring it out on the market and offer it and all everyone says is "eh meh hmmm no thanks/thanks anyway ben, it probably wont work only because nothing else has"

Ben , I plan to try your box Ben, but kinda hard to test much with a blown motor and all tracks closed for the year ;)

I give the thing a 100% money back guarantee, what does everyone have to lose? Ive sold a whole boatload of them and other than Anthony's box supposedly having a bad push-button, I have yet to hear of anyone saying it doesnt work or they wanted to return it.

Ben I asked a simple question I wanted to know what trucks you tested on to make such a bold claim , if you make a claim its only fair to substantiate it IMOP , the thing you need to realize Ben , is I don't doubt that your product is good , but if you expect me to not want proof when you say your box will guarantee lock up in a truck with over 1k hp "at will" , something I spent all this last year trying different things , logging pass's , ect , there is far more to getting a converter to lock up at will than just controlling the solenoid once the power is high enough, I have more info than I can shake a stick at on the subject in a truck that fits into your claims , yes i will respond to you or any one else if there claims are "assumed" and not actually tested until they show me some hard data.

This or my previous post is not a jab shot Ben , I like you , I like the product, and have no motive to sway anything or anybody away from it , even if it doesn't lock the converter instantly it will be better than no controller at all and will probably do as promised at the right power levels for sure, but dont kid yourself to think that there is no difference between an 800 hp truck and an 1200 hp truck , and I am not saying there is a better controller out there, not even close , simply that hydraulically there are issue's far out side of simply controlling "command" that need to be addressed.

Is there a way with efi live to make the truck shift to different gears at different speeds?
You mean shift points or forcing a shift when you want? Either way, the answer is yes, but I have had some problems with the forcing a shift method. I'm not sure if they have fixed the issue or not.

Trent can you please explain this further/in more tech detail?

BTW, no my original post was not a jab at you, im sorry you took it that way.

OMG SIMON. You have no idea how this stuff works. Even if you unplugged the TCM completely from the truck, my box would still lock the converter.

Mine controls the f-trim solenoid independently. IT DOESNT NEED THE TCM FOR HELP. Get that through your head. What the TCM does or wants doesnt mean crap because as soon as you press the button, the TCM isnt even physically connected to the TCC solenoid anymore.

Your right I don't have any idea, I don't test stuff on 2000hp trucks like you do.
Even if I did, I woudnt hear the results over my big bad loud drag truck:rofl:

btw Kelly doesn't have your gizmo on his truck.

Ben once you actually prove your box works on a 900 hp plus vehicle
then I will stfu. Untill then I wil be in my loud bad ass drag truck enjoying the sounds of turbo whistle.

Hmmm seems traction control off cures all wierdness at least on my last drive.

yeah, all i can see traction control doing for you now is create problems with the power you want to run and what you have done under WOT conditions. im not entirely sure how it works (and personally would like to know how GM did that without starting another shit show/ thread high jack ) but to my best knowledge it probably defuels the truck to bring power down and keep traction. if thats the case, it cant help your trans relearn under WOT conditions where some tire spin may come in

Me thinks your right, I was hoping the grand master might share his opinion on this. Or what guys are finding on trucks with the traction control.

Just think if you could build yourself a motor that would hold together with some power for any amount of time you could test it on your own big bad race truck;)

I will have some info by spring , I have some upgrades going into the trans over the winter to hopefully fix the issue or at a minimum make it better , Its just an idea i am going to try because i need to have a fix one way or another for my own truck , and will either use your piece or what I have been currently using on the control side and hopefully the 2 fixes combined can get a converter to lock earlier than previously thought possible and will be running an even looser converter for the new turbo setup , and if can work on my truck with the new combo it will work for any body .

Hey dude, put ToTheMax01 back on, he was much more literate than you are. I read the above post three times over and still couldn't make any sense of it.

Are you afraid that we might meet in person at some point? Thats why you had to go hide behind a fake screen name to take a dig at me??? Better hope that awesome "stage 2" you got under your truck holds together...because George is a much farther drive from you than I am.

My products and my customers' trucks' performance speak for themselves. I dont need a big stupid money pit of a truck to show off and prove my worth as a diesel performance shop. And for what its worth, my truck was running 12's almost 5 years before yours was.

Happy customers with fast trucks is probably the best advertising a shop could possibly have IMO. My truck doesnt run 10's or pull in the 3.0 class but it is unique, its mine, and it has many one-off custom parts that no other Duramax's in the world have.

And if you look around, the some of the best shops/leaders in the duramax/allison performance world have daily drivers that are even more stock than my truck. ;)
