Dmax711 I believe.

Almost like he just threw it together as cheaply and quickly as possible to unload for quick cash...

Good to see that Even is there for you and taking nothing for granted, he really seems to be digging in and finding what could easily be missed under all the obvious.
I think if I ever go the rout of owning a race truck I will build my own. That's still not the most cost effective way but at least you know what you have and what you have is what you want or at least what you wanted.
Ah hell it is all so crazy expensive I will just sit back and enjoy watching you guys:hug:

Just got some good news, truck is done! Evan said it shifts great and that the truck rips on tune 1. Obviously it is still a long way from being where I want it but at least the biggest expense is out of the way.

I sure hope for your sake that the engine/fuel system was what it was advertised to be, but the more you post about all these other issues, Im starting to really worry.....

I hate that this hobby/sport has attracted so many unscrupulous/dishonest people. It sucks.

Why hasn't the original owner replied or said sorry or responded in any way? Unless it sold for half what he was asking, it shoulda been in much better shape for the money spent. Not so hacked together.

X a million. This hobby is expensive enough, no room for scumbags.

Hopefully you will get the chance to enjoy it now. Sometimes there is nothing you can do other than smile and carry on. Good luck and let me know if you need any help with it.

X3. To many young punk kids anymore. They buy a diesel. Run there mouth on the forums and facebook groups. Make it where the knowledgeable guys give up trying to help. Then get out of the diesel scene a year later. I remember when forums was to help each other out and learn new tips. Now everything turns into a argument and D*** measuring contest.

As to the OP I feel your pain. I am gun shy about buying any used mechanical parts used anymore. Have seen to many people get screwed along with myself. One persons slightly used is way different then another's. Also shipping tactics suck now days. I wish Evan was closer to me. I need a motor built.

Not speaking for him in anyway. He misrepresented the truck, at least this way everyone knows buyer beware.

Kind of like this?
