How is it that two cp3s won't keep up with 2250us on 100 overs? I didn't have a problem with 2500 on 100 overs . It won't recover to the desired pressures or it is just down for a bit and recovers?
It holds rail, but it no longer maxes out the pressure sensor the whole run, now I can see the pressure coming down into the sub 180mpa range in the logs.

I think we have already determined that these are flowing more than 100s considering a 1650us tune ran in the 10s at 130mph.

The valley pump is old, life 190k miles old. The top pump is a stock pump, not sure on age.

White devil lost a turbo tonight at the track. Top 366. Fortunately it didn't blast all the oil onto the ground or into the intake. 472 wheel is a little chewed up. 366 is junk. Found some more of the pos rigging job..... FYI a hose clamp squishing an oil feed line down does not count as an oil restrictor....

I haven't read this whole thread but i take it that the guy you bought this truck from did a lot rigging/cutting corners? To take a hose clamp on a oil feed line and use it as a restrictor wtf LMAO

Haha yes, if you read the thread you would see more gems.

I am glad I found that clamp though, both turbos have oil restrictors on the feed lines already, so that certainly wasn't helping.

By the looks of the shaft I am assuming it to be an oiling problem.

You should pull one of those injectors out and have it flow tested. Those things have to be around 250% over if 1650us got you a 10.

How's it running with the 475?

Havent run it yet. I had to come back to work for a month. Have to get a new 366 to put on it also. Im not expecting much difference in track times though, this thing was perfectly clean after 30 ft. The amount of air that these triples supply is pretty amazing.

I should pull them all and send them out to get checked out, they are pretty high mileage.

They are certainly larger than 100's, there is no doubt about that. I have the receipt for the nozzles from II, listed as 100% over, 38LPM, nozzles. Of course they probably flowed them at 160mpa or less, and with air, so their flow at 190mpa or more is going to be way different. Two stock high mileage LLY cp3's are at their limit to support a 2250us tune. Regulators wide open just to maintain 180mpa.

Cant wait to get a pair of Sportsman or Exergy 10mm's on there and see what it will do.:woott:

When I first got it it had a 2650us tune in it and wouldnt even come close to holding rail, no wonder huh??:spit: My DD tune is a 1050us, and I guarentee it would run a 12.0.

They could work but wouldn't be ideal. The 472 with two 366s is very powerful. If you have never ridden or driven something like it it is extremely fast. It's very hard to explain to someone who hasn't experienced it. They will think you are lying because it's hard to believe.

I'd love to ditch my 88mm and throw a set of s366's over my s472. If i had a buyer right now for the 88, I wouldn't even think twice.

I agree. When these things come online it is scary. Lag is minimal, obviously more than a stock turbo or 366, but if I mat it at 50mph it will downshift and light crazy fast. Like I have said before, I have not yet found a speed under 100 that it wont blow the tires off.

I am interested to see how this 475 with a race cover will feel. It was on the truck when i bought it but I never actually got to push it at all before hurting the trans. Since then it has had the 472.
