Quad?
Yes, I hope it's not a new trend...let someone back-in with a new user name and NO history.

IIRC, Quad was banned for fighting with TTS or TTS customers.
Problem is, many of the old threads were heavily edited, so you have to go on memory.

Well Mike, you have certainly been beating the other side of the DP drum since your ban was lifted, what gives?
I know people have opinions, and they are allowed to change them, but yours did a 180 almost overnight.

Reason I ask is that I'm using the Stealth 2 box.... Short of a little timing rattle, this thing has been nothing but good to me. Runs like a raped ape on damn near any tune, and only wrecks trans on tunes over lvl 5
What could they have possibly done wrong that got them kicked. Fighting with Cole IS a losing proposition considering his backing.... That's what did it??
I think it's in the works. You may have to work harder at it though  .
Well I am already back out and in the general members eyes, so what exactly did you want me to work at? You guys have any mod openings? I have some expierence
Quad Bonker is a smart guy and a real diesel gearhead. They actually lost alot of good tech content by canning him, and perhaps stunted the development of Dmax products.
I believe it escalated to the point where Quad threatened someone with a lawsuit. But reading the old posts, it's hard to tell. It was just Tuner Wars gone crazy. He was banned early 2004.
I'm not sure how much was held back with Alvin. Although the bastard stack was a staple for along time for the LB7.
It was a finicky problem although with some trucks and his experiments. From frozen tuners to lost stock calibrations to ghost peddle and mass air sensor codes but man they were some fun times.
Daver was hilarious and boy did he love to break his stones with the 'carrot'. Some of you guys will remember.
Good times
That was a fun little set up!!! Never dynoed it, but I bet it wasn't to far off the " Extreme "..
Funny story to tell when that happened to me and verbal instructions by Alvin when my truck was stuck in the driveway. Man those were the days
If you go on the place and look up their (Quad's) most recent post, you will see that they are actually NOT a supporting vendor, just a member. Their user title says supporting vendor, but their name is small blue, not the vendor big blue, and there are no vendor links in their avatar area. I think the "supporting vendor" title is a leftover artifact that DP did not change when they were banned.
You'd be crusing down the highway at like 70 and it would just drop to idle. The pedal would be dead! You'd have to pull over shut the truck off restart to be on your way.
honking the horn & banging on the dash
That is exactly what has happened to mine a couple of times. I have the banks w/PDA. know how to fix it?
