It wasn't your extreme popularity that brought you back. Seems there is quite a curiosity for the seventh overheating fix for the '05 overheaters.

Considering banning or reinstating members:

Nobody likes everybody. Even Mother Theresa was pissed at her hair dresser.
Members of an enthusiast board need to be judged mostly on their "good" posts. If a member adds good content to a board, they should be forgiven for most any transgression that doesn't involve illegal activity, like threats of violence, drug sales, stealing, etc. Whether you like Killerbee or not, his posts are often very good reading, hence makes a good candidate for reinstating on a board.

I hope Killerbee continues to post at Duramax Diesels, where there is the highest concentration of tech readers and hotrodders of any diesel site I know of. We might be small, but the average Diesel IQ here is very high.

I think something has to be added to this.



By us allowing this I think it should be held to technical discussions.


Its seems as though the rule about linking to other sites is already being taken advantage of. I decided to allow this against my feelings. This new rule is ment to be for technical post, that can help users. Not for telling people to leave this community and link to another.

For those of you that have started to do this it will not be tolerated. You will be asked to remove it from your signature. Please dont kill this and ruin it for other members..

I hate to say it, but I agree with Stew.

That is a "commercial site" so abusing a freedom to post links will just make it harder on the members.

For my members, I ask you to refrain.

100% agreed. Links for the purpose of member recruitment should be removed.
