Remember that you will need a certain height between roll bar and seat
Also remember ps and ds are different bases

Nancy negative speaks up

The seats should end up in the same spot as stock. Hopefully. Forward/backward movement would probably change slightly. I thought about cutting off my stock bases and just adapting them

oohh, I'm following you now. how should I go about it then?

Best would be to have the cage/bar in the truck then sit in the truck with your helmet on.

I cant remember the distance off hand but there needs to be a certain measurment between your bar and helmet

x2 , plus the door bar has to pass in the middle of your elbow and shoulder with the driver in the seat .

I was aware of the door bar rule: crossing between the shoulder and the elbow. But the measurement from the helmet I thought I read that was in reference to the rear cross bar. I'll have to go back and re-read it

Note to self:

Vinyl Floors are a pain in the ass to install!
especially when they are supposed to be "Custom Molded" for an Ext cab and I get it and it's for a crew cab...good thing I had extra razor blades....

I hope I don't run into the same problem

problem was that they were molded for a crew cab which has the floor ducting....not what I ordered but I ordered it from a place in Alabama and wasn't about to wait another week to get the right one...I used a small torpedo heater to get it all warm and got it molded the best i could. I had to take up some slack in the center over the tunnel but it's covered by the new aluminum console anyways.
