My conclusion is that the wiring job to relocate the computer(s) is well worth the time and is pretty straight forward. Same goes for running LLY and LBZ injectors with LB7 ECM and FICM. Tuning may prove to be a pain in the arse, but o well.

ummmm.. told ya so :D and next time i say 1 at a time listen to me dammit!

well, it's firing on all 8 cylinders now, instead of 4. sounds much better! I can't thank Kyle and Dylan and Ben enough for all the help. These FICM connectors are pretty finicky, I'll be happy when I can find a nice center console to put them in permanently instead of on the floor. I am also interested to see how this turbo lights on the street with these headers ( Ive been told that they will make spooling much more difficult) because from the basic tune that's in it now it wants to light fairly easily.

Charger still same as you got it from Garrick?

Did you miss my question about the 01-02 wiring controlling LLY injectors as-is or am I being politely ignored because of proprietary information you don't want to share openly? :D

Congrats though, I'm anxious to see it run!

Sorry Mitch, I thought I had answered you bud: yes, all we did was take and delete the unecessary wires to the gpcm, delete the fuel filter head wiring, the turbo game control circuits, the egr circuits, and I think the fuel temp circuit, and the IAH circuit. Used lb7 glows, and reused the cleaner lly glow wires. I deleted wiring to pass side battery, and wired all CAN wires in-cab because the existing splice was giving me lots of trouble.

And this turbo is the same as I got it from garrick, just red now and adorned with a turbo sock. I need more air though!

I wont put it on the track until after columbus day weekend. I am bringing it to Freyburg Maine for the last pull of the season in these parts, haha. I pretty much finished the hitch today, after changing it a bit from the way I thought it would work first. In that video it was defueling at 3500 rpms or so because the ECM still isn't securely mounted and isolated. Once I pick it up off the floor it's fine. I am going to weld the front carrier and gusset the idler arm bracket and make some temporary u-joint shields out of steel before the 9th. I also still need to hook up the Isspro sensors and the electric fans. But this time, it really should be ready in time :thumb:

I am making everything as easily removable as possible so that it should only take me about 4 hrs by myself to swap from pulling setup to racing setup. the front diff and the rear blocks will take the most time.

Thanks Guys!:woott:

Hitch is done, has about 15 degrees at 26" and about 17 degrees at 24". hopefully it works as planned. fans are almost done, a little loud but they definitely move some air. I am going to weld the front and rear carriers this weekend as well as the rear axle housing to the pumpkin.
