When putting my motor together , I questioned myself if I had tightened the cam retainer bolts . It cost me a new front seal to check .They were tight but it was a good piece of mind .;)

truck is running again, idles higher and smoother now, no tune change after startup. tomorrow we'll see if she still pops and skips. Im betting not. I wish I had read the cam gear thread though, would've been something to try. although, I dont know if I want to give up any mroe rpm up top with this 8460 cam. Ive been told it makes peak power at 4000 and if i had known that prior to buying it, I wouldve gone with something different.

I measured 127.5" with a string for the belt last night (dual cp3 where AC was), 01 tensioner (smooth), I found 3 Gates belts in that aprox length so i ordered them all in for this afternoon from NAPA.

K061247
K061251
K061265HD (fleetrunner green belt)

NAPA's system has them listed at 25- (part #) instead of k(part #)

Definitely the wrong belts....Need like a 32 inch belt...I can't find one made by Gates

Hey guys if you want to know what dedication to the point of insanity is look no further than this thread; Murphy is going to get a serious ass whooping if I ever meet the SOB. After some serious work and HUGE set-backs the "SS" is on the road to Denver for the DPC. We kicked some serious ass in the past 60 hours. Dylan, Wally, Jon, Tim, Ben, Evan, and myself all working almost literally around the clock getting everything buttoned up and ready for this trip.

Tim sorry I can't be there in person, but I am just a phone call away! Good job keeping your eye on the prize now get there safe and kick some ass!!!!!
