well, I just ordered about a mile of wire and heat shrink tubing and expandable looming......I decided to scrap the idea of mounting the electronics under teh hood and opted for mounting them in the cab under the seats.........thanks Kyle :hifinger::buttkick:

on a positive note, the downpipe is done and coated and wrapped, just waiting on the uppipe gaskets so i can tighten them up and get the tranny in. wiring and plumbing commences next week, may have a intitial startup next weekend!

got a little bit done yesterday, going back at it this afternoon into tomorrow. we got about half the wiring harness extended and decided that instead of mounting under the seats, we'd build a cool center console, retaining cup holders and jump seat, to house the ECM, TCM, and FICM. my buddy's father is a sheet metal guy, so we will TIG a frame up in the cab and have him make some aluminum covers for it. I want to incorporate a way to make the trays slide out with hydrolic assist struts like some fancy computer towers have, because they will be mounted on an downward angle.

We got a lot closer: made a bracket for the Mitusa, put the tranny and transfer case and driveshafts in, mounted the fuel filter setup, modded the fuel pressure regulator (holley- boost referenced), did some wire splicing, and shot some stuff:D

waiting on the fuel cell and Ben:woott:

well, I had high hopes of having it running yesterday, but that was not in the cards....The fuel cell I ordered from B D Racing was supposed to come with mounting brackets and a check valve on the vent....it didn't....not a show stopper but a minor setback. Next, I thought it would be way faster than it has been to connect all the wires from my extended harnesses to the opposing ends still under the hood, it takes two people and two continuity testers to do it efficiently, along with the correct connector diagrams and a little patience. But the good news is, the ECM is totally connected back to the truck, which leaves the TCM wires and a couple of the accessory wires still needing to be done. Thanks to Dylan for his TIG skills, we had an enchanted evening:rofl: even after all the setbacks he had trying to get down here from NH.
