You'll love it!!!!! I need to get mine back to him, need to get it fine tuned using the tools he has there. The dual 12's and 400's are a little on the large side of things. Lol

He pretty much specd my whole build. I can't wait to get the truck to him. I HOPE we can dial the injectors in close enough through email so I can make the 8 hour drive to him for in person tune.

Why do you want an Lbz ecm so bad? There's obviously tuning that can be done with lmm ecms..
I'm aware of and have dealt with the lmm rail pressure control issues when trying to squeeze every last bit out a setup for sled pulling. When asked about the problem, Mark said to take the motor out of the lmm and put it in a lbz, problem solved. So I'm wandering, is this problem application-specific or just not something you try to control on other setups. This is only in the last 2 years too.

I'd like to know what has changed specifically if anything. Obviously big power can be made with an lmm. Its just that if you can't control rail psi, you're always leaving power on the table.

If you try to run rail psi any higher than stock they go berserk. So on max effort setups/tunes only basically

I haven't had any problems going to 190 mpa on lmm trucks. I usually don't run that much pressure but do have a couple with no issues.

This is pretty much the reason why I'm interested in it. My truck made 671 and 1250 with 60's stock motor 12mm stroker and Danville TCT 2.5 vgt charger. 6 pulls later blows a hole in #8 piston. Same air fuel setup. Full built motor 15.5:1 fingers ported heads truck made 630 and 1270. Switched to Danville TCT 2.5 s400 charger and truck made 660 and 1290 ish. Switched to big lbz I jesters and truck does no better and have a probably making holding rail according to logs..

Mine had issues commanding more than 26k, I called Mark and he fixed it right away.

You have a built motor that you can't make more than 660hp on?

I run more pressure than stock with no issues.

My lmm maxed out the sensor all the time. I think it was 29,900 or something stuipd like that, it wasn't low on power at all. It did more than it should have actually but it consistently backed it up when I tracked it. I did chase low rp issues at first then the tuner got them dialed in...

I have a billet s475/87 1.10 I ran some this fall in some small fair pulls and judging but the results and some of the guys beating me with 2.5 vgt chargers and stock motors tells me that my 475 is making no more power than what my 2.5 charger is. Data logs show its starving for rail pressure. I just have a hard time believing that making less than 700 rwhp my 12mm stroker pump is tapped out. I'm changing fuel lines and fuel supply around currently but if it makes no difference I'm real tempted to throw a budget built motor in it and send it down the road so I can buy an obs and run my built motor on a stand alone harness.

Yeah that's the issue right now. Mark does the tuning for it. It's been on his rollers 3 times. He says I need a second cp3.

Just so this is clearer. I'm not blaming anything on Mark. He's the man and has helped me tons over the last few years. I'm just starting to believe I have a cursed lmm that is destined to be a slug.

You might have a weak CP3 before I'd believe you need a second CP3 to make more power than you're making. Hell, Mark himself has gone over 1,000rwhp or close to it with a single, large CP3. Granted that was on his LBZ but still. You shouldn't be THAT fuel starved I wouldn't think.
