That was too bad for PDD, but that carnage was truly impressive. That engine literally broke in half.

Was that an aftermarket block casting? Those guys change stuff around so much I haven't kept track.

From comp D:
He updated his Facebook in the middle of the night and said throttle hung, air shutoff setup didn't activate properly, initially looks like 2 rod bolts failed, then whole the rest was still at full tilt it split the Hamilton block off the rotating assembly section.

Maybe it's because that camshaft be bouncing around in there hammering the crap outa your block. 1500hp, but only 1 cam bearing... And they wonder why they split in half...

Upon further review, he had upgraded those.. Just a Dodge thing then.. :rofl:
