Dt checked there inventory. I guess they had 6 lb7 ecms they are all corrupt. So I'm waiting waiting waiting longer til they get in an order of ecms at the end of the week to check them. I sent back the two I had. I'm 50 dollars shipping wise in the hole and in the same spot I was a month ago. No one really in particular to blame just bad luck. Tony and dt and Henry are all working to get it done. If dt's shipment are all corrupt I won't really know what to do at that point other than pay 400 for a new ecm from tony. So i guess we will find out later this week. I think it's gonna be my new years resolution to get this thing on the road! Wish I had some good news - oh yeah I ordered a fake muffler:woott:
The one thing I don't want to work! Oh well it couldn't muffle a truck the has no ecm:thumb:
Let me know how you end up liking your clutch choice. As far as drivability and towing use.

On second thought I have a locked ECM for lb7 sitting here. I don't know if it can be unlocked or not, I know I couldn't read it with efi or flash over with gm software. But it does start and run the truck I had it in.

I already had a 650 hp south bend non sfi approved dual disc. It wasn't anything I couldn't take off in 2nd gear with a gooseneck and a truck on it. Got Grabby in town bit like I said never had to use first or snuffed the truck out. I loved to the streetability but people have different takes on the word.
I'll see what duramax tuner does maybe I can buy one from tony for 400. With a core, minus 150 off the core to get it repaired. Plus his has new chips and what not so it's gonna be right when I get it. But I'll see what dt does for me first.
My brother has a sb single disc it's about as Grabby as my dual disc when it got warmed up in town or in parking lots with alot of engagements. But just driving around under normal conditions without taking off alot, like in stop and go traffic it was fine. Plus u always have first gear. And if u want a mean stick truck it's something u have to learn to live with:thumb:
Traction bars would probably help mine considerably.. I've got the pieces to build then just gotta do it
I was told that a non corrupt ecm was gonna ship out today from dt. Hope that checks out should get it wednesday. Maybe have it tuned by the end of the week but I'm tired of getting my hopes up so we will see. Then I can cruise it around and see what the hell this clutch is squelching for:WTF2:
No but there was confusion and they tried to send me a 3.5 inlet and outlet but I caught it.
Got my supposed uncorrupted ecm tonight I'll be sending tony the tune tomorrow night hopefully to get tunes back by friday.
