LMM, I ran the stock single for about 8months(daily driver) before it started failing to click the truck off. I also had a problem with the heater controls resetting every morning to 74degrees with the a/c on and they just never worked right. I purchased a odyssey pc1500 that has solved my heater control glitch and lights the truck off pretty quick. It's spendy $300 but has a full replacement 4 year warranty and well built.

bwaahaha. Nice try. If Im such a terrible tuner than why did you say you really liked my tune. You even complimented several aspects of it. (no smoke, driveability, how you were going to use it as your tow tune/daily driver tune). Nice back-pedaling, but you're going to have to do better than that, seeing as I have it in writing!!!

Where did I say that??? No ones tune ever fixed the problem (I had Tony tune my truck, I had Idaho Rob send me stuff, I had you send me stuff, etc). The only way that I could seem to make the issue go away was by maxing out the TLIQ tables in the areas where it occured. But the ECM would still defuel in those random spurts (if you monitored Driver Demanded Torque), but the torque reductions wouldnt be 'translated' to the real world because even though the ECM was asking torque to be reduced to 300ft lbs, 300ft lbs = 100mm3 in the TLIQ table, thus the defuel wouldnt actually be felt.
But that had so many issues, drive ability, trans-shift defuel became unpredictable, etc......
I stopped racing my truck before I truly figured it out. Even Ross at EFILive said it was very strange.
Not to get OT but I started running a single bat in Sept 2011 and it worked well until half way through the first winter and it took a sht it was old though. So I bought an interstate which worked well through the rest of the winter and all summer and about half of this winter and now if the truck sits more than a couple of days it will not start unless I leave a bat tender on it.

The more cable you run the more voltage drop you will have that being said i dont think your running long enough to worry about it.John is running 1 1800 cca battery in the way back of the truck and doesnt seam to have any probelms altho he doesnt drive it much.
