Alrighty here are my compression test results.... 05 lly, grade c gaskets, s472, 30% injectors, efi, always ran on my biggest tune and ran hard every single time I drive it. 161,000 miles. Towed a goose neck it's whole previous life and the last 25,000 miles i have owned it, it has been abused. What do you guys think?

I told him I would eat my words. I haven't noticed a single bit of performance or cold start issues at all. 0 degree weather it fires right up no problem with no abnormal smoke or anything...so until I notice something wrong, she's good to go:D

You can have bent rods without any signs like that, its when they get real bad or one is bent that you see the signs.

I like the risk of racing our stock motors :D I been trying to pop my HG for 5 years and so far I've failed:roflmao: But on a serious note I know I'm on borrowed time and have been for years. But I'm still confident my motor will last several more years if I'm smart with the skinny. But then again shit does happen.

I trapped 119mph@6800#'s for a dozen passes or so and ran 75 or more passes close to 100mph in the 1/8. Funk made a handful of 125mph passes and tons of 1/8 at or over 100mph @ 6200ish#'s. I know they are LBZ/ LMM but they both took a beating.

Mine compressioned checked at or above 390 the day before a rod exited the block

A post from Pats compression thread.

11) Write down the numbers. You are looking for balance not numbers. A factory stock engine might be as high as 400PSI, but normally about 340 IIRC, 15.5 pistons should be about 280PSI. But you are looking for any cylinder or combination that is more than 50 lbs out according to GM, or more than 10% according to me.
