Didn't know that stating facts was considered being negative...besides, seems you missed the fact that I was talking remote mount, and the OP was talking about a side mount. I agree there are tons of possibilities, but with every one that solves one problem it creates another, or trades off an advantage. There are advantages, ease of maintainence and such...But there is a reason that the factory turbo was placed where it was. ;)

Dood u should just stick with cut and paste, people on this site think out side the the box ;) facts gimme a break u never tried this stuff so you are just going by what you have read ( lame ) untill u actually have tried it keep ur boring opinion to ur self jmho

Turbos like heat. the further you remove the turbo from heat the worse it is going to perform. The more you tighten the turbine housing to negate the loss of heat the more you are going to force drive pressure up. But what do I know, I'm just an "over thinker".

For more in depth explanation, read the book by Corkey Bell.

Maybe your not an "over thinker", maybe your an under-achiever. I gaurantee you would have a hard time lighting the charger im running now in the valley, if you do it right, heat transfer isnt an issue.

:rofl::rofl::rofl: Keep your big spinny thing where you want it. Hell leave everything factory, it has to be better that way if isuzu designed it like that.

Do you guys think that twins like a dodge setup would fit on the drivers side? I looked at my buddies dodge and it looks like it just might:dontknow: I guess if Eric M can do a triple in that area twins should fit right?

I put a rubber wheel on the turbine side and mine sits on the ground under the truck with flexiable lines and duct to feed the intercooler. Sure does light slow but once i hit 150mph hold on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:joker: All kidding a side I seen Josh's truck in action and with the conservative fueling and stock injectors it lights real easy for the size of the turbo. SIde mounted turbos are just neat and cleans up the crap on top of the engine. Not to mention if your in a competition of some sort and your turbo craps out, it would only take you minutes to swap out instead of hour/hours and bleeding.
