220k miles, 9 years, a built motor at one point, and 100's of 1/4 mile passes on my old school Suncoast IV kit so far. I have been easier on it in its "old age", but for being beat old Alto Reds bathed in cheap no-name Dexron III, I cant complain.

Some day when I have more time, Ill tear it down and post pics of what 200k++ mile Alto reds look like, but for now, F it run it.

Cant wait to see what the future holds with all of these awesome new clutches and lots of smart people behind them...so many options! :thumb:

I'm curious what the clutch friction surface area on those clutches are compared to the normal slotted Alto or Raybestos clutches. Do you know, Mike?

Sorry! I'm new here. I pissed off my transmission. P0700 and p0777 came up on the scanner. When it cooled off the truck shifted fine. Should I be looking for a builder? It's an 07.5 cc/lb with an edge race programmer on level 4

Have you ever used any Exedy clutches, Mike?

Exedy has not built any high performance clutches for the Alli yet. Kyle House who is their hp manager spent a day at my shop a year ago and said he was going to when he had time. Hasn't happened yet. He sent some new stock replacements to me and Suncoast.

Been looking. No reputable company really in Houston except Circle D. After reading all the post on here I'm afraid I'll get the wrong torque converter and the wrong style clutches for the c3.
