Insurance is really useless unless it's major damage on a one vehicle incident. Between the deductible & surcharge they get you in the long run.
Minor stuff is better to take the hit & pay it out of pocket

On my policy deer are covered under comprehensive. It may be worth you checking with your insurance company, if you haven't already.
I read something a while back that it's how the state claims game animals as their property.
With the deer population in PA I could see why, it's something crazy like more deer get hit in PA in a year than what we have for total deer population in Mass

Last deer hit I had I had to pay out of pocket the deductible.

I'll just fix it and go on with life.. I wanted different lights anyway

I never thought of that angle, noreaster.

In PA the deer belong to the State. Technically it states that they belong to the citizens, and the Pennsylvania Game Commission are the citizens collective representatives in charge of them. But the PGC is standalone, or so it's touted. Technically they are not funded by the State government and rely on license sales, though the 8 commissioners (who have total veto power to biologists, though no wildlife education is required) are politically appointed by the governor.

Sorry for the insider rant.

Just be glad it wasn't a Moose;) I have had several all but sitting on the hood of the blue hooker... They sure make a mess out of a vehicle and the occupants.

When I was 17 I smoked a cow Elk at 95 mph in Idaho with my dads Caddy, He didn't talk to me for few weeks. Center punched that sucker right in the butt hole, I remember it watching fly over the car thinking holy shit my dads gonna kill me, shit all over the car too:D I left the part out about doing 100+ and getting slowed down to 95 or so, or I probably wouldn't be here typing this now:thumb:

Albert, I died reading that..

Side note. Lowered it down to the last hole in the shackle..

Beat on the truck some last night taking a couple friends on a ride.. it's just so easy to walk this thing around leaving places.. like a quick half throttle blip and just pedal it..

Did a 10-15 psi 4hi launch on the way to dinner. Blew an intercooler boot off about 3rd gear lockup. Scared the hell out of my buddies girl friend. Then she was pissed we couldn't do it again :roflmao:

Can't wait to get my jaketracs on and the qa1s dialed. This thing already launches great and runs damn good..

Since I've pretty much given up on sleep I spent about 5 hours cleaning the paint tonight.

Wash with dawn dish soap to remove any wax or grease.

Clay bar after wash.

Then used the turtle wax jet black kit. It's a 3 stage process with awesome results.

Followed up with a application of nano shock to finish it off.

I think she cleaned up pretty good.

Oh and I put about another 100 miles on it today and shortened the rear tire life by about an extra 10%
