It's a big difference in sound by swapping a race cover on a 75, cuts the whistle in half & spooled it a little slower
I'm thinking of putting it back on now that I'm going to be commuting back & forth to South Jersey for half of the year. I don't want it being that obnoxious for 6-8hrs each way
With the 6 blade billet wheel, 1.10 housing & SACs its extremely responsive

What size wheel is in the IHI? Stay with stock size or went with a 63.5

Stock size wetzel

Noticed this am the truck had a puddle or two under it.. it has a substantial oil leak at the timing cover where the oil pressure relief valve is.. guess I'll pull the cover off and re seal.. can't remember if I can put a new front seal in the cover in the truck or not.

Think I solved my issue already.. I guess the powder coat smashed under the bolts some and the bolts holding the timing cover were all semi loose.

Tightened up and all seems well

These deer are really F'n my heart in the ass this week... First one runs out in front of my crew van and causes us to get rear ended by an 18 wheeler hauling gasoline. Now they bang up your truck before I even get to ride in it...

Pegged one in my LB7 about a month ago runnin 65ish. Good thing I still had the frontier replacement on at the time. Muleys around here can get up to 235lbs field dressed, so it's not fun hitting these big bastards, luckily it just got my passenger headlight. Glad it didn't mess anything more up on yours Corbin.

Geezus ----- you have the worst luck! You get the truck finally running and hit a deer the next day?!? WTF?

Do you have comp coverage on the truck? If so, I believe you can claim it thru that.

Yea I have full coverage with a $500 deductible.. but I'll probably not turn it in. I can probably fix it for less than $500 myself and make it how I want instead of a body shop half assing it.

I'll probably leave it in. It's plenty loud. Just not what I was expecting after being around cast 475s in twin set ups.

Sorry to derail but my mind really is curious. Anyone know sound comparisons between the billet and cast s475? Eg. loud vs quite.
