So badass what you all accomplish out of your garage in a neighborhood! Not gonna lie, that camaro wasx so sick!! Your work on the dragster looks impeccable too!
There's an elementary school at one end of the street and a high school tech academy at the other end (which I help out alot).

And our neighbors will love it when we load the dragster. 20 foot truck + 5 foot tongue + 32 foot box + 7.5 foot door + 3 foot flap..... :roflmao::D

As it was with a quad cab ram 1500 and open trailer, we were about 4 feet into the street. We figure the new setup, even parked at an angle, will be at least to the sidewalk across the street :D

Very nice, i love that color blue.
It's powdercoat candy blue.

As dad puts it, we bought the house for the garage. We made the garage.....shop do what we figured we would ever need, but the living quarters aren't the best. :p

The 3.5 car garage was the selling point. 35 foot center bay. We could delete the dining room and add another couple feet if we wanted. Who needs a dining room when you have a giant shop and an eat-in kitchen?

Looks awesome!! getting back to my original roots and what got me into the diesel world!! With a 35 foot center bay in the garage I would have given my testicles for that house!

Had the scoop tray chrome powdercoated. $40 and it's actually reflective...there isn't even any clear on it yet!

I have thought about swapping. I have an apd set for q16 in my dragster. We don't have to change jets but fuel is hard to find.

One of our friends had a rupert, then he switched to APD, now he's putting a terminator on it.

They say it will be cheaper, but it's not. We were using 1.5 gallons a pass in the camaro at 1/8 mile tracks and 2 gallons at the 1/4 from the longer shutdown and return. The one 1/4 mile pass we made (8.56 @ 155 in 2975# car), dad had to drive it back on the primer plus because it shut off at the turn. We had a 3 gal pro-mod tank in it.

Yea I know that. We have 3 gal tanks on our dragster and door car. We can make 2 passes out of them and I like that. We fill them up between rounds anyway but it still makes it nice not to have to worry about not having enough fuel.

the undercover has, as best as I can calculate, a 4.5 gallon cell under the seat, and we have a 1 quart primer plus tank.

Dad doesn't lean it out when driving. That's worth a good bit of fuel as well, but also heat.

We bled the brakes, did a back half nut&bolt check, re-torqued the beadlocks (I've never been able to carry a mounted slick one handed..gotta love the weld ultralights!), and got everything ready to go.

fuel leak, another fuel leak, still leaking, fixed, transmission park isn't park, transmission leak, another fuel leak, dead battery. Need to re-do transmission cooler fitting, and put new O-Rings in barrel valve. But it runs.

Also, thing to get used to: no fenders around tires and do not assume park is park. I now have pieces [plural] of skin removed due to backing up into tires turning when trans was in park [I was adding trans fluid and straddling the headers and tried to step backwards].
