Washed the truck after changing injectors and blowing a boost tube 3 times on the test drive. Got it sorted, though.

easter breakfast supply run, spanked a 4.6 mustang on the highway, he threw me a thumbs up when he rolled back by. I'm glad people can do a pull and not be sore losers and get bent out of shape. But he had a mustang so he probably already knew it was slow:rofl:

I tried to do something similar last night, but as soon as I hammered down, a boost tube exited stage left, lol. Had to coast to a gas station in defeat.

How much boost were you making with that 366 I'm guessing? Can't see sigs on my phone but I'm guessing with all the powder that it's built motor and plenty of fuel

It is a billet S371 with 75% over sticks. Built internals, ported head, cam, etc. Makes about 45 PSI boost on the current tune. The problem was one of the couplers wasn't long enough and I couldn't get a clamp past the rolled end, so it kept blowing off. Got a better coupler on it and hasn't popped off since.

Does anyone know if I can add those plastic fender pieces to a chevy? I'm guessing not since is looks like they have a in dent area that they fit on. starting to see some little rock chips with my wide tires.

I saw a Chevy HD this weekend that had what looked like the plastic fender trim on it. I don't know if they were aftermarket or factory pieces, but I suspect that you will be able to add something.

Today, I completed my monthly mileage chart at 16,635 miles. Yes, I still have a couple of days left in the month. Tomorrow, I will be replacing the original front wheel bearing/hubs. Every now and then the wheel sensor acts up while braking on very tight twisty roads when lots of braking is used. So, I figure that I will replace the wheel sensors and bearings tomorrow and flush and replace the brake fluid. The stock front bearings have 421,000 miles on them.

No more axle wrap and no issues with suspension travel. They are almost 5' bolt to bolt. Built from some stuff I had laying around the shop.
