Well the problem I think is something else.. It's throwing p0621 &p0622 codes.. Beer and the lake was calling so I didn't mess with it much

Finally took the moulding(s)/off the doors today...there are a couple dents under the trim pieces...all in all, I like it, looks cleaner and meaner :thumb:
Nice! I knew you'd come around. Get the dings popped out by a good paint less dent removal guy. :thumb:

Well I've put about 600 miles on these and I think their worth it. They are a bit pricey. The best way to describe what they do is, when you go over or through dips/bumps it softens the jolt of it. The approach and departure on bridge over passes is much better. The washboard of the freeways is smoother but not gone.
Also put in new upper ball joints. The front end is smooth and doesn't shake again. Didn't realize that they were that bad after 135,000 miles.

Changed the oil, cleaned he air filter (gunna need to buy a new one soon), changed the fan clutch, and installed one new coilover shock and stopped till after the late fathers day dinner I'm doing for my dad and father in law.

I am interested in doing a coil over swap on my little half ton toy. My knowledge is nill. And my expierence even less.
Is their a certain type you use? What model vehicle are they for? I have a briken t-bar right now and i think a coilover would be amazing for the road coarse...

When putting coilovers on a rig that was never designed for them, a lot of challenges come up and you gotta have some back knowledge on how suspension works, how to figure spring rate for correct ride height, and lots more. The main ones are spring rate and proper length shock. Yours being a 1500, a lot of people have done it already. You might search around and see what you can find out.
These foxes I had built for my truck. Spec'ed valving, spec'ed shock length, what length hose I wanted for the resi, and different eyelet end as well as a few other things internally. Only thing I wish they had was external rebound adjustment that worked as well as qa1's.

What could one anticipated a set of them just plain coil over cost. Just a set height with a standard rebound rate?

X2 kick him some coin and run it all through him if he's willing... The guy knows his suspension sh*t and has been there done that with his suspension. You will save money in the long run not getting the wrong stuff to begin with.
