Fixed my dsp5 switch.

If'n this ice ain't too bad tomorrow I'll get back out an try to fix some more stuff that irritates me on this thing.

Hydroboost
Front left is activating abs every time I come to a complete stop. Annoying.
Dome lights and other interior accessory lights don't work.
Cargo light either.

I feel ya there. But testing the stock allisons limits is not something that helps me to sleep at night! thats why im getting it done before an issue occurs, for the extra cost if it does. im also hoping my jighway vibrations will go away with a new sexy torque converter

Has yours limped at all?
Mine has at least 6-8 times, p0735 is the code I get. It's not happy at all.

Mine hasn't limped for me, March 10 will be 1 year with me behind the wheel. No clue about the PO as I bought it wholesale from a dealer out of state.

When it locks up in 5th and into 6th, and also 3rd and 4th when it tow hall i get a nice driveline vibration that varies in intensity. Makes the ol'e rumble strip noise as well from what my ears can determine, but auditory queues are very subjective and im also deaf in one ear hah. I've about dried up my skills getting the truck running right, so onto the pro :)

I have the same one. Check the cage on the back and make sure the pulley and belt aren't rubbing it. Also there is a little screw in filter on the back. You will see a square in the cage. Make sure that Is tight. The the line on the top right side and the eye gas. My leaked oil from not being tight enough. Once all that is good to go they are great compressors. I have one at home and my buddy has the same one for his shop that runs 24/7.

Thanks for the heads up I will double check all those before I even fire it up. Still got a bit of wiring to do anyway.

Charged the batteries and put a battery maintainer on it that I just got. Haven't started it in 5 weeks... :(. Dusted off the EFI laptop I need to tune this thing one day. I didnt add more air and fuel to this thing just to mess around only making 35psi for the last year.

Increased my constantly freezing off 15/32" PCV reroute hose to 3/4" and drained the freezing water that was collecting in the hose that remotely connects my MAP... maybe now I can drive below -25C again... what a PITA when your reroute freezes and you blow oil everywhere and your MAP freezes and you get no boost!
