Installed an Airdog Raptor RP-100 lift pump last night. I ordered the complete kit from Amazon. This kit came with everything needed except a fuse tap. Total install time was about two hours, not counting the trip to town to get the fuse tap.

My shotgun ABS fix of a wheel speed sensor didn't work. :(

But, truck has new pads/rotors on all corners now. Snapped two wheel studs on the rear and ruined the parking brake pads so the work is far from over. Pretty sure the caliper on driver side rear is in need of a new bracket as well.

Le sigh.

Yeah they didn’t seem that bad when I was driving it but when I took them off I was shocked.

The factory tow package is rated at 7500 pounds towing and 1000 tongue weight. Its a wonder why they hold up at much as they do with how most people use them.

I upgraded tk a Curt class v a few years back after seeing one fail at the worst possible moment. Totalled the truck, trailer, and offroad rig he was towing. I heard later that the insurance company denied the claim because he was loaded past the receivers rating.

I was definitely past 7500, but I try not to load the tongue down. Not the first one I've ripped off either

Are you sure about that I swear they were rated for at least 10,000 pounds?
