Noticed my heater wasnt blowing on high on Friday.
Bought new resistor module and installed it today. Fan is now back to normal operation.

Cant really complain, though. Got 14 years out of the OEM module, which is more than most. :)

The turbine came balanced and the wetzel came balanced so it should be good to go. I did port match the exhaust ports on the turbo to match the up pipes. That turbo is a heavy SOB though.

I got a 10 blade pre balanced and a TCT wheel pre balanced. Sent it off and it came back with weight shaved in spots...I'll never rebuild a turbo without a rebalance unless I'm using the same turbine and compressor

Interesting, I suppose if one doesn't align the wheels to the same spot as when they were balanced it could be off too. I guess I'll see how it goes cause I'm not pulling that thing again soon!

Runs like a scalded ape...sounds super good. It's the one Josh154 is who I did it for. He's got a bunch of videos. That compressor wheel has a distinct noise...almost a superchargerish wine. No where near a super charger but doesn't have the normal 6x6 billet wheel whistle down the intake. The 10 blade screams though...very close to the stg2r

Tom, do you think I'm having the same issue if mine ONLY blows on high?

How did that run?

Yep Brock is the one who did my turbo. My time in the sig still had the vanes pretty tight at 50%. I talked with mark on here and he said 35-40% is were peak power is. So I had them opened up more and it pulls WAY harder on top. When they were tighter it fell off pretty hard up top, now it just keeps on pulling and pulling. I haven't got s chance to get out to the track after the new tune

Next time put the hood in the "service position", pushes the hood up a bit higher for more back/arm room. There are some extra bolt holes in the hood, you remove 2 bolts and relocate the hinge to those holes.

Found a post from heymccall:

If you've lost the blower in an '03-'07 Classic, there are 5 problems. Listed in order of commonness:

Failed Blower Resistor Module
Failed Resistor Module Connector terminals
Melted 2 wire connector into the blower motor itself
Failed BLWR 40 amp fuse underhood(controls High speed only)
Failed HTR/-A/C 25 amp fuse in the left dash board (1st 4 speeds only)

Resistor pack or the selector. Generally only high means the resistor pack died.

My wife's Colorado eats resistor packs like candy. It's common in those as well but something is causing too much amperage to be drawn through the wires. It will melt the plug after the 3 rd resistor pack. I get 6 months out of pack and can't find the bottle neck.

Yep the stock 63.5 size. The tct is badass though. I'm glad I went tct over wetzel. Mark has gotten right around 700 out of the same setup which is dam impressive for a 63.5

Hmm wonder how that would do with my dual fuelers I already have a 10 blade turbine waiting to do something with.

I went back to old school lights on the bumper. Just can't do the light bar thing on this truck. I'll save that for the tracker and sand car

Little sinister night pic muhahaha
