Got the old bumper mounts cut/grinded off and got the new ones bolted up. Mounted up some LED spots behind the grill and plugged em into the fogs since the "new" bumper lacks fogs. Gonna wrap the donor hood, then if USPS ever delivers my cooler should have the truck back together on Monday after work. :woott:

Agreed. I washed mine. Got kinda muddy after a few days of rain and driving through puddles at the refinery. Narrowed my tire choice down. To Toyo Open Country RT. Now to decide in 285/70/17 or 295/70/17...also need to go pick up the h2 wheels

I'm glad you didn't turn that sexy GMC into an ugly ass chevy!

Gotta get a new bumper plastic at some point and have it painted body color. But thats after I get this back on the road. Prob lift the bumper and toss on the 1500 grill I have too.

Its rough, but finally drivable. USPS was kind enough to deliver my trans cooler after work. Lil bigger than stock, so hopefully it does as well as OEM.

Picked up a 01 2500 Chevy suburban couple weeks ago...
6.0/4L85 2wd LT with some 220k on it.. with "engine problems".. for 700 cash.. found flex plate was broken..

Years ago 315/35*12.50 on stock height was a thing... I did it with my 02 2500 cclb.. but with stock rims.. anyone still running similar setups?
Forgot how nice they fit currently have 315/70/17 on a 17*9 with 5" bs.. trying to figure out if anyone figured our what was needed for the front

Ran 315/70/17 on h2 wheels and fit with a little plastic trim. Rubbed the sway bar and factory upper control arms at full lock.

35s are all my buddy runs on a stock height Dmax. Remember the HD line has a "2 inch body lift" over your suburban. Probably going to need lots of clearancing but the more back spacing, the less you will rub. Be careful though as too much will
Make it rub on the UCA at near or full lock

Course... The rear Ac/heat lines run down passenger side rocker panels.. with no room to do the normal bending /fender mod

Pulled a 12.9 at 111 mph friday night out of the zf, with a 2.1 60. definitely gonna need some suspension work. Doesnt like launching. Might try some roll races in 2 weeks.
