Can't believe some people go YEARS without changing fuel filters...

I've got 50k on my lml factory filter. It has had an airdog on it since day one and I change those filters every 15 or 20. Fuel filter life never really moves and rail pressure is perfect. I have cut them open before and they looked great, you only really need them when you need them, lol, the rest of the time filters are mainly insurance...

Ya I'm just sort of on the mentality of I'd rather spend $50 on filters every 10-15k miles than spend $3000-$3500 on injectors

TX of course
Prematurely replacing fuel filters doesn't mean your injectors are going to last any longer. Filters filter better as they load up with debris and you have the possibility injecting debris into the fuel system while changing the filters. Really it's splitting hairs so do whatever makes you feel good.

I have a cat filter in the stock location that's been there for a while:D. The airdog on the other hand gets changed once a year.

Just install a gauge under the hood and take a note of the baseline when you install new ones. This picture is taken while the truck is not running and check every so often when I fill up with the engine running. I would not leave a fuel filter installed for more than 2 years.

I drove it around trying to find oil for it.

One store was sold out (they checked 5 other locations that were sold out too) then I found one gallon each at two locations of another store (I had a half gallon left from the last oil change).

Put the green truck to work picking up me and the old man's newest project. She did alright, got warm trying to hold 65mph on the hills and set a low rail code a few times. Probably would have been fine if I hadn't left it on a 2400us tune .

Yeah 67 1100B 4x4. It's complete and very original. Thinking we'll do a frame and drivetrain swap with a slightly more modern 8 lug Ford or gm frame/axles/engine and trans. Kind of leaning toward a 7.3 idi Ford donor. Since it'd still sort of be International. Small lift and 37x12.50 mud grips.

Ficm took a crap last night. Dropped one injector bank then the second bank and shut off. No start and circuit codes for all injectors. Plugged in an lb7 one I had laying around. It wouldn't start with that either but I don't have codes. Hopefully I can find a ficm locally today
