Should add T-4 housing no gate. I am pretty sure that it has been pushed outside of its MAP. Compressor wheel looks good. I will send it back to ED for a rebuild and either sell, or keep on the shelf for another project

That sucks. How many miles did you have on it?

I dont have an exact figure I have had it for 3 1/2 years probably 30kish? Roughly 27k of those were on a stock motor, stock injector lb7 with an lbz pump. The last 3000 have been on a built motor LLY, (100% exergy inj, 2X stock cp3, ported heads, cam, blah blah). Hadnt seen it burning oil until this week. My wife drove it for 2 days and told me that it was smoking bad, but wasnt black so she knew it wasnt fuel:happy2:(bless her heart maybe I have taught her something)
you mean to tell me you got a woman to pay attention to a truck? And point you in a diagnostic direction..hol Lee poop you sir are like a Jedi master or something.

Think it had something to do with lots of fuel and a heavy foot? At least a rebuild for those is easy

lol she pays attention sometimes. yes I would say lots of fuel and heavy foot yes;). Especially since the motor swap. the tuning session was rough too, heard it bark more than I care to lol

Yea that's never good on a turbo. This 68r is hell on my tires. I told my wife it's the turbos fault that I'll need new ones this summer. I don't think she believes me at all

First fillup did 10.9mpg mix bobtail/towing/little hot footing it along with fuel leaks..

Got rail relief valve leak fixed. #2 injector doesn't want to seal to the line.. And seaps. OEM fuel filter head is leaking somewhere between. Filter sinister adapet and the housing..
Picked up a wix 24770 filter head most likely be mounting that if I got enough fittings on hand
Loaded for crowley Louisiana for Monday delivery.. Thoughts and prayers are welcome :)

Found why #2 injector was leaking all pitted up in the seal surface

OEM filter head decided to leak... Coating that side. And got a fuel like on drivers side... That only leaks while driving.. Injector and alines are dry...
Joys

Playing around with a filter head off one of the engines I've bought... The outlet boss is light bigger then 7/16" which is same bit size for 1/4" npt.. Ideally I'd use -6 pushlock and one piece of hose to go from filter to cp3. Right now I got a splice in it.. To step down from 1/2 to 3/8".. Just another place a leak could start...
Some of the passages inside the OEM head are less then 7/16" which creates a restriction thus a pressure/flow drop. Especially at upper rpms.. Not really a concern for under 500hp guys IMO...
The boss is big enough really for 3/8" npt.. Once fittings are in, the ID of fittings are going to be less than 1/2".. Basically one would be running a 1/2" hose with a 3/8" restrictor in the line... Making a 1/2" line from filter head to cp3 basically pointless....
The idea is mount fuel pressure gauge as close to cp3 inlet.. While still having OEM bleed port.. Since you would be loosing the OEM test port that sits by the alternator when upgrading to -6 or bigger lines

Also been contemplating building an adapter to mount a wix 24770 filter head. Comes with 1-14" filter nipple which there are a slew of fuel and fuel/water filters out there.
Comes with 4 1/2" NPT bosses.. ~3/4" passages.
Some 3" x3" x1/4" plate, drill corresponding holes for OEM mount and the wix filter head. Mount in stock location..

basically let my mind wonder while I was waiting for my wheel bearing to get in today
Had some 1/2npt by 1/2" and 3/8" Barb fitings
radiator drain petcock some
3x4" 1/4" plate
5/16x1.5"
3/8x1" bolts with nylocks
Might have to use the filter head space from sinister diesel adapter..

Washed it and detailed the interior today. Then bought new window visors for it finally.

Very sharp, how is the finish on the moto metal holding up?

As long as you don't drop a lug nut on them they seem pretty good.

I try to keep them pretty clean because i know chrome doesn't fair well being dirty all the time. Hopefully they never see road salt. I bought a jeep to drive to prevent that.

Really want some forces.. But I'm poor

Forces are crazy expensive. A friend bought 26" -76 offset forces for his power stroke and I think they were around 6k

Chopped OEM trailer plug and connector off put old style with tabs on.. And saw the batter hot wire is 14ga with a 40A fuse and some 20' long. Talk about voltage drop trying to charge a battery and run a viar compressor that pulls 20A itself.. That's getting replaced with min 10ga or 8 if I got enough at-home.. Threw a 30A breaker on the wire off a battery post. Bypassing fuse box all together.
Someone forgot size x length=resistance

X2,
After all new stainless hard and flex brake lines, lml hydro boost, and new tires, go to get it aligned and they said time for new front end parts.....so next up is a ultimate idler arm, and rare parts pitman arm and tie rods.
