what if the front rested on something other than the factory bump stops. maybe adjustable bump stops. adjust them so that the front only just comes off of the stops, now your front is not coming up much and your not losing your hitch height.

That is the key, all you have to do is set the stops so it doesn't sag so much... but make sure it actually comes off the stops.

Here is a video of our open driveline truck, you can hardly even tell the frontend lifts, and look how high the rear is....

Will you have problems with the front end breaking or bouncing if you use taller bump stops so that when the truck is just sitting there your cv angles are not flat anymore? Or as long as the front end comes off of the stops a little bit you wont have any problems?

True...if I could ever get free from work I'd love to make it out that way

x2. You guys are so lucky to have such a strong pulling presence and support down there. Our pulls are a joke at best up here and turnout minimal. Which is strange with all the fast diesels around Alberta....:(

Someday when I get a built trans and engine, I'm gonna load up the holiday trailer and spend a month cruising around down there and make a few pulls. Just to see how the big boys do it!!:woott:

My IFS puller actually had negative angles just sitting, the pumpkin was lower than the outter knuckles.

When your pulling your cvs arent flat anymore if your front end is raising. A little angle isnt going to kill them. As long as its not setting on the stops i dont think you will have problems.

Mine raises just a little off the stops & they are level running down the track. That's one of the reasons I have a TC lift though :D
