Off Season Sled Pulling Mods

Tony Burkhard

Allseason Diesel Per.
Is that a new Danville charger I see Tony? Truck looks like its coming along, definitely gives me some motivation to get mine going again.
The charger in the pic with the motor is my old Danville charger and the charger in the pic on the bench is going to be the new charger, i have it just for set up than its going to get a nip and tuck.

In your avatar it looks like STS tires on your puller. What do you like about the duratracs over the STS's?

towards the end of the season I ran duratracs in the rear and STSs in the front. This season I'm going to run duractracs all the way around. The only time I ran STSs all the away around was when I was single wheel still. So I don't really want to compare to them. Never ran STSs in the dual wheel set up except for in the the front.

I like my STS's as well. I take it they hook up up harder then the STS's???

Personally I think they are too aggressive but that's just my 2 cents. Not sure if they hook too hard or are just not hooking consistently.

Then again the truck running them kicks my butt everytime.:roflmao:

I've had good luck with them, but we'll see when I get on a real "biting" track.
