Shouldn’t be too bad. Hoping to have it going tomorrow night again, see how far I can get tonight. I wanna drop the def tank and all that too, that’s all new to me. Honestly have never even put def in the thing

I’ve been down to 50 miles on dic with zero issues starting. I’ll grab a pic of my setup. Just grabbing all my tools and parts now and going to start tearing truck down

Good luck. You do fine I'm sure.

DEF tank is one of the easier parts, 10-15 minutes it's on the ground.

Lol not good. Didn’t start last night, worked on it for about hour and a half this morning, and got about another 3 hours into it now. Kind of at a stand still till I can get another hand, trying to get the front pipe off so I can slip the down pipe out between the frame. Downpipe is loose but I need another hand to pull the exhaust back and get that last couple inches while holding the front pipe, once that’s out downpipe will be out. Then the top 6 bolts on up pipe. Egr is all loose just held in by 1 bolt and up pipe. Still got y bridge to pull then cp3 swap and put it all back together

Ten, if you're not interested in saving the downpipe and have a Sawzall handy that's how I got mine out easy. Just cut the bottom piece off and then it pulled out fairly easy lol

Ya know I'm not sure about that since I didn't have that kind of downpipe this time with my compound kit.. I about think it did on my 11 model lml but that's been a few years ago now lol.

X2 for cutting it out. Mine did josh just pushed the front pipe back a tad. Also while you got it tore apart check that rubber fin around the fan housing they like to slide down and eventually will rub a hole in the radiator. It looked like the top of yours has already slipped down a bit that's what made me think of it. Congrats on the new truck btw. Knew you wouldnt stay with a gasser very long.

Thanks Russ! It’s cake once I get the cp3 swapped! Cp3 shouldn’t be too bad either. I’ve done one before, just not a conversion

Looking forward to what you think of the CP3 install as this is something I’ve been debating doing myself or paying a shop to do after watching Fleeces video on install.

You sure? My sdp kit has a billet plug that looked like it went there based on instructions. I could have sworn that used to be turbo drain before on my lmm

Yeah I just started watching fleeces video now. Really helps a lot. If you already have a full egr delete done it would save so much time

Maybe it does then. I’ve not used their full kit.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. Did you bolt it down? Sdp instructions say just tap it in, o ring will hold it with no bolt
