A quick look on my craigslist app under jobs pulled up almost 50 jobs posted within the hour. Granted half are spam and junk but you get the idea

I never been one to think i was to good for any job, but when i was laid off last from my job as a diesel technician (and i didnt take any unemployment, i mowed yards, i worked on trucks at my home shop, any odd job i could find) But when i was looking for jobs, ones that came up that didnt involve being a diesel tech was almost a waste to me. I still had a couple tool bills i was paying on when i was laid off and say i had took a restaurant job, the money i would be making would be going towards paying tools and since im sure it would have been a significant pay cut i would have been paying most of my paycheck to tools i wasnt even using to make a living anymore. Having thousands and thousands of dollars of tools sitting around wasnt a good thought to me. Anyways i ended up getting called to work at another dealership but now they are having problems too and laid off a tech this morning and sent me home early.

I get job offers all the time. A respectable hard working honest person will NEVER need unemployment! I've done shit I didn't like, worked on a farm pulling weeds out of cotton fields, bagged groceries, and worked as a correctional officer at a max security prison. I'm 43 and have never spent one day of my life unemployed. I know I'm going to piss some people off but there is always somewhere to work, it may suck but the work is out there.

Unemployment insurance is just that, insurance. Originally, for 26 weeks.
The premiums are paid, and benefits are collected. Extending unemployment was not a good idea, it just seemed like one.
Social services are another story. Totally out of control. An industry unto itself.
Forty six (46) percent of Americans pay no income tax. Relative to them, me and the wealthy are both overtaxed.

I agree our government has turned to shit fast! I love taking pay cuts almost every 2 years because our government sucks. I quit working for the government because the place was so ****ed up and poorly ran.

Ya the 39% bracket starts somewhere around 400k though..

Lucky me. The way we have our family farm setup, I get to be in this tax bracket, even though I don't make anywhere near this. I currently own 20% of the farm, and in order for us to have a chance of staying out of the higher bracket, I will have to buy another 29%, to split the taxed income between my dad and I. What a p.i.t.a.

I really don't know why anyone is surprised..........

We all knew that after he spent us into massive debt, gave away free Obama phones, food stamps galore, years and years of unemployment extensions, lots of welfare for illegals as well as school lunches, free healthcare, etc.

Money had to come from somewhere, as he knows you can't get the money just out of the rich so he goes where the money is easiest to get, from the average American.

We don't have tax shelters with off shore accounts and tax lawyers as well as estate planners and accountants to get the best deal and avoid the most taxes.

Since the big companies and Unions donate big money to the Dem's and Republicans they get the dinner and we get the check.

Once they disarm America we can be happy with just the crumbs......not even table scraps

:(

Take this into consideration. There are roughly 150,000,000 people that are considered to be part of the work force. Of that 150,000,000- only 80,000,000 are in the private sector. So if you think about it, 80,000,000 workers are actually supporting 300,000,000 people.

As of April 2009, the specific number was 154,731,000 in the civilian workforce. There are also approximately 1,500,000 in the military workforce.
FYI, the current population of the US is 306,531,009, meaning that more than half of the US is working. Out of the whole population, 11.1 million are out of work, 43 million are elderly (65+), 48 million are stay-at-home moms/dads, and 73 million are children under 18.

It us a insurance your employer pays on his payroll. In essence a tax. To many claims ans extending benefits broke the bank. No money available with the extended benefits and then the Feds loan the states to pay the benefits out. Then I get a bill for interest on the money loaned to the state for extended benefits and this just sucks that we having f--king idiots running our country.

We have 51% of our country that are idiots.
This, we blame the govt but yet vote for what is going to be best for us, not the US. So we elect the people who give the most out. It isn't hard to see how we got to where we are. I don't see how we can get back out with a normal elected govt unles 51% decided they were ok with more taxes and less payouts to get this fixed

Yep the entitlement attitude and people are not willing to accept that everybody is not equal, never will be, and it doesn't work when you try and make them so. In our business we work hard to pay good wages, pay for health and dental insurance, vacation, and give people a great place to work, etc. Then the mouth breathing, lip-smaking elitist socialist people who make their living seeing how big of a hero they can be to people that suck want to **** it all up, It's pretty much a kick in the nuts. But that's what we have to deal with so we do our best to succeed, empower people in their jobs and let them make something for themselves. But what do I know, I'm not a community organizer

There is another way to get out of this cluster f---. We don't need more taxes. We need less government , less social programs, Congress and President's treated as normal citizens, government being ran as a private business would be, and that's just a start. As a business owner I can't take your check to pay my bills but my dear uncle Sam can. I'm sorry to say this but we will keep in this direction until there is a revolution to take our country back as there was in the beginning.

As an outsider I don't think it's fair that the blame be put on Obama for what he has had to do to fix the mess.

The real bandits are Wall Street and deregulation of the financial industry. They made billions playing casino games with your money and creating false values. Fact is, this goes back to the Reagan administration and got worse with Bush.

You can't have someone making $40K/year in a $300,000 mortgage that's back loaded, it doesn't work. More over, it's amazing how much people complain about taxes and government spending but certainly have no problem buying alcohol, cigarettes and gambling.

Fact is, life is what you make it. If you want a better life, work for it. I've lost plenty of friends because I'm in a higher income bracket, well, guess what, me and my wife work our asses off, she spent 6 years getting a post secondary education.

Did we have Obama phones before Obama? I don't think we did. Cell phones for free? I know people with multiple Obama phones and there isn't suppose to be but one per household. Yes Obama is a big piece if the problem. All these social services are not needed and mostly not wanted by working Americans. The last thing I need is a government giving everything away and telling me how to live and what to buy.

Not trying to insult you but have you watched obamas America 2016? The dude has used numerous different SSN's and has multiple alias's in different countries.
He has consorted and kept close ties with people known as communist. I can't hardly make a post about any of this shit going on right now without getting just insanely pissed that the people of this country are allowing this to happen. I for one have been signing every petition for pro 2nd amendment that I can get my hands on. Guess what folks..... Once they take guns that's it we are done stick the constitution in the fire along with the Bill of rights. If you watch CNN or any mainstream media for anything other than the time you are watching exactly what the government wants you to watch! They control exactly what gets aired and what doesn't.
