The more I drive the twins the more I become used to the lag and it really isn't something that is keeping me from enjoying them.

Did a pull from 30-120mph on the big tune yesterday with a coworker in the truck, he about **** himself and was in disbelief even still when he called after work!

The twins are strong once they spool, no doubt!

may try to hit the 1/8 track close to here if I don't go out of town tomorrow. Will be in full street trim but it will give me a chance to work on the launch with the new setup. :thumb:

The 1/8th will give you a feel for it but the twins really shine in the 1/4.the last 1/8th they come on hard, least mine do.Iirc I cut a 1.59 with proxy 2s in the 60.

If I can just cut a 1.8 60 right now I'd be happy. I haven't found the sweet spot yet. It's been either just under the turbos or violent leaving the line on the street.

What boost you leaving at?

It was the 1st time at the track and 1st time for those wheels and tres but iirc I was leaving around 15 I want to say.I had the front end way down with 265s mine was never violent till I tried launching on the street with the same tires at 20 psi boost then I was all over the place spinning.Track prep will help with the traction issue.lt was cold that day also started out at 40 at 8am and around 1030 when we started running I think it was up to 46.

We had the go pro on Russell's truck last time in Baytown and the battery went dead while we were waiting in line to run for three hours .

That sucks I got the remote turn on for mine but havent really sat down to figure it out.I just suction cup it to the windsheild and reach out and set it right before the run.Problem is I get so excited I forget to turn it on most of the time.Either that or blow the tires off because I forgot to hit 4x4

I'll see about getting the go pro ready just in case. I had it sticky mounted on the side at the 4x4 sticker last time for a cool video (would have seen the mustang in the other lane leave me like I was sitting still!!). Probably use the suction cup mount to the windshield this time.

Truck has been running great, probably cutting 4-6 WOT runs a day (maybe 550hp tune). About the same HP I daily drove on the stock turbo race tune before. The turbo's make it all feel so smooth as they light when you roll into it on the street.

Need to fix an oil leak on the drain of the 480. Looks like the gasket on the pedestal is leaking. Have to get some new gaskets and get it fixed!
