I've got almost $20k into mine at this point, and it was an older platform, not lifted, doesn't have quadrasteer or the Denali interior. I bet he's got $25-30k into that one.

I believe the Josh H knows the gentleman who built that truck.

Wish I knew more about it, that guy took some of those pictures with a potato it seems like.

22K? With a rebuilt title? Am i missing something?

I bet he's got much more than that into it.

The rebuilt title is probably to get it registered as a half ton diesel. It's technically not legal to put that engine in a low GVWR half ton truck, but I believe with a rebuilt title you can. I'm not 100% sure on that, but it's something that Eric at Duraburb suggested looking into when I was thinking I was going to have trouble registering my 1500 swap truck.

So it's a half ton frame? I wonder how he got the adjustable foot pedal to work since the Duramax uses a completely separate pedal assembly separate from the gassers.

But still $22,500? For a truck w a "rebuilt" title? Seems insane to me. I wonder whats in that truck $ wise.. 15K?

Yeah it adds up after awhile, if I didn't have my girlfriends Dad that owns an autobody shop I'd easily be into my truck another 5k. More if I didn't do the work myself.

The text at the bottom of that ad says its a 1500. And yes, I believe that even though the pedal assemblies are different they all bolt up the same. The 99-07 cabs are all the same regardless of 1500/2500 or what pedal assembly came in them. My truck had a cable throttle pedal originally, and the electronic throttle pedal bolted right up no problem.

I'm talking with the actual pedal. With the Duramax there are 3 throttle position sensors in the gas pedal..... and I don't think the gassers are the same.

Surprised if that rear diff would hold up to putting your foot into it.

Beautiful truck regardless.:thumb:
They've built 3 or 4 of them now. I wouldn't want to get too crazy with the power, but they are doing fine at the 450-500 hp level. I'll see if I can find a pic of the last one they built.

Gotcha, I was assuming they put an adjustable pedal assembly from the donor truck in there, not reusing the one from the gas truck.

I'm picking up this CCSB Greystone LBZ Chevy tomorrow. Going to swap the Mike L built trans out of it into the Regular cab and put the reg cab trans in the Chevy. Then sell the Crew. If anyone is interested let me know. I tuned the truck with EFILive at 44k miles and it's never been above 420-430 rwhp. My reg cab LBZ trans was stock power level until 107k miles and currently has 117k on it. The tune is the same as the crew cab ~420-430 hp. Doesn't slip and have never limped it.

Specs:

2006 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab short bed LBZ Greystone Metallic.
105-106k miles
He had it serviced at a dealership regularly
Comes with a set of black 18's and maybe a set of 22" rockstars if I can get him to throw them in.
Colormatched, mirrors, handlles, bumper cap etc.
Tint 20% on rolldowns
Kenwood Double din, remote start and security.
Focal Components and I think it has some 10" subwoofers under the rear seat.
Bedrug and campershell/topper
2" drop shackles out back
Interior is optioned as cloth with a jumpseat in the center. I could probably find a console if that is a deal breaker.
Will make a for sale thread later on. Just seelng if anyone would want it.

What it looked like 2 years ago before colormatching and the camper shell. Yes he did a burnout with the truck to burn some 245's off before he put the Rockstars on. I was there and he did a 2nd gear burnout. I took this picture.

edit: The KBB private party on this truck is 24,500-24,800. I'd be asking around 22,500 for it.

Nope, I ordered a 5M long led strip on ebay. You only have to solder once, no resistors or anything. Run it around the cluster and cut it to length. Every 3 leds you can cut it.... don't throw the extra away either because you can just solder new leads on and keep going!

Is there a thread on this somewhere? Haven't seen anyone use the strips before. I really like it, much smoother lighting transitions.
