His skin has toughened up yet... But really... twins are twins.. The S480 isn't anything new.. especially using the 96 turbine 1.32 A/R... That's the charger that Nathan specs on the S300/S400 kit.

S480 is so 2008 ;) S510 is the new S480... Right trent? :happy2: :coolspot:

Best bang for the buck I could find :D def on the top of the poor boy go fast parts list , there are def better turbo's out there but if you look at lbs per min per $$ its tuff to beat :thumb:

I dunno....I say anyone who has the gumption (balls?) to fabricate a twin setup from scratch should be given some respect, not derision.
Fab work like that is certainly beyond the abilities of the majority of people out there (including me).

Looks good Ben. I'm not sure bigger is always better or more expensive is always better. The set that Trent is running appears to do the job in a Prostreet truck quite nicely. I didn't get a chance to talk to him in Phoenix on what he was making for boost, drive pressure or egts, and unless he logged it I doubt he knows either since he was probably just hanging on and grinning.:D

Want to read that again? He asked her about the comment that said bigger isn't always better but more expensive is.

Subman made that comment. She was not commenting on anything that you said.

No worries Trent if he was going to insult my girl he would say she is not a very smart gold digger as she makes more money than me!

I am sorry to hear about your short comings. However Heepjeep there are women that view and post on this site that probably wouldnt take to kindly to your choice of words.

I am so confused here.......it was my fault for dragging it off topic initially...

I painted all the pipes so hopefully it will be dry by tonight so I can finally drive it again.

What color are you going with Ben??

The hot pipe and downpipe will be high temp black, and wrapped in header wrap (also painted black to try to help it from coming apart)

The cold pipes and intercooler pipes will be painted GM "dark charcoal metallic". My buddy Tacojedbob has a dark charcoal/gray metallic LLY and we smoothed/painted his mirrors a while ago...I was trying to decide what color to paint my pipes and while digging through some stuff I found some of the left over paint.

I figured it would look neat with the metallic flake paint. A little more exciting than just plain 'black', but still conservative enough to not look terrible the second it gets some dirt/grease on it. Obviously Ill clear coat over the pipes too.

I didnt really want to do some wild color because Im too cheap to go buy nice paint, and Id be worried Id paint it [with some ridiculous color], stand back, and say "huh....why the hell did I think that would look good...?" :D

what do you guys think of that paint choice...? Im going to shoot the first coat in about 2 minutes so I guess its too late to change my mind now...!
